I realize that you asked for a blind Bella, but just in case, this one is a mute Bella who leaves her scarf behind and Edward returns it.  Jasper is her best friend and answers the door.

Edward met Bella in Central Park during fall. Intrigued, he kept striking a conversation with Bella but Bella remained silent. It didn’t mean though that she wasn’t able to answer all of his questions. What Edward didn’t know is that Bella can’t speak.

Its been so long since I've read the story that there is a good possibility that she's mute, not blind. Going to look up your recommended fic now thanks!

"trying to find the name of the story i read a few months ago, Edward meets Bella in New York she is 18 visiting alice/jasper she was waitressing at a event , he is a architect and he wants to marry her they get married no one knows they are married, he moved her in his house and please can you help me remember the name?"

Hi! I noticed that the author SparklingWand took down her story 'Don't Take the Girl' from FF.net and FictionPad. 
I didn't see a copy on here for ePUB so, here is the copy I have and it's complete.  If you don't need this copy I don't mind removing it.
