I can't remember the title of a story I read a while ago (I think it was pulled from ff)

I remember clearly Bella was playing the piano and singing Gravity with Alice accompanying her with the violin. Edward was impressed with her singing, I think he was a musician too and Alice's older brother. HELP!

Thanks! I got the name right in the subject line, just messed it up in the body. So, is this one of the stories they pulled to publish, or is this supposed to come back again someday, rewritten as fanfic? I can't keep up!

Dear Readers,

We've decided that since we've bitten off a bit more than we can chew writing two stories simultaneously, that we're going to pull In High Gear. Our goal is to finish Taking a Shot which only has two chapters left - part of which is already written, and then go back and finish In High Gear in its entirety and re-post the entire thing. Partly because we thought the readers may want to go back and re-read because it's been so long because we posted and partly because of the continuity. We promise that we will post it as soon as we get it finished and edited. It is NOT being pulled to publish. We'll hope that you'll pick it back up again when we re-post.

Hi all. I am looking for a story that was completed at least two years ago, I think. Its about 15 chapters long. Bella moves to town and drains a couple of teen boys. She even makes a date with Mike Newton to kill him. I cannot remember but she may have been physically intimate with her kills as well. Edward at some point confides in Jasper that he is the one that turned her. They met in the late 50s (maybe 1960) in a malt shop or soda shop. There was mention of a leather jacket, motorcycle and I think a jukebox (in Bella's later recollection). She was walking home when he pulled up and offered her a ride. I cannot remember how he came about turning her but I think there may have been some kissing involved. I am nowhere near 100% but I think he may have willfully abandoned her after turning her. At some point in the story they have a conversation in a tree and she asks him why he abstains sexually and from human blood. They do wind-up as mates but she is pretty darn angry at him for awhile (understandably). She mentions missing her little brother Riley too. Does this sound familiar? I have tried every keyword search combination I can think of and I am coming up with nothing. I really appreciate ya'll reading regardless!

So I was just trying to download a fic using flagfic and apparently as of this week, they no longer are supported by fanfiction.net and do not work does anyone know of any similar sites that I can use? I used to use a different one but I can't remember the name or find the link saved on my computer.

The fanfic downloader plug-in for calibre works. Steve lists some alternatives on the Flag site, as well.

ALTERNATIVES TO FLAG

The following are some of the available alternatives to FLAG which will allow you to save stories while I am negotiating with ffnet to continue FLAG's support for their sites. None of them function in quite the same way as FLAG, however hopefully they will be useful.

Fanfiction Downloader - Windows / OSX application, requires Calibre. Slow, but generally reliable, and well supported by the developer. There's also a limited web interface to this available via their site.
Fanfiction Downloader (same name as above, but different program) - Calibre plugin, or also available via their website with a Google login. Slow, but generally reliable, and well supported by the developer. Please be considerate when using their web service, as they have limited resources available.
De-FFNet-Izer - Windows application. I haven't personally tested this one, but I've heard that it works.

Hello everyone.
I`m quite new here, it`s my first post though I`ve been lurking here a lot looking for great fanfics. Actually, I`m looking desperetaly for one right now.
It`s Bella and Edward story. I read it long time ago, I was sure I was having it in my favourites but can`t find it anywhere and I don`t remember the title.
E and B went to school together. Edward was bullying Bella. Now, after a few years Bella still has some issues because of what happened to her in school - she`s got some mental problems, eating disorder. But some wieird coincidence Bella, Rose and Alice meet Emmet, Jasper and Edward at some school reunion or trip to Las Vegas (I don`t remember correctly) and by some bet or something Edward is going back with Bella. He`s trying to make up to her for what he`s done in highschool and they and up in relationship though Bella`s still fighting with some trust issues and eating disorder. I think it was still in progress when I read it.

I would be so so gratefull if someone recognize it and tell me the title and author.
I`m sorry, English isn`t my first language but I hope it was understandable

H.S. fic. I am not sure on a lot of details but hope you ladies can help. I think Edward and Bella had a falling out when they were 13. Edward got with Tanya. Later in story Charlie died in the line of duty and a deputy comes to tell Bella at school during lunch. Tanya say something like 'you probably wanted him to die for the money' . Ending the story Bella moves to Seattle to become a singer I believe, she had kept it secret that she got a signed record deal.
