I received a pm from an author looking for the following. It sounds familiar so I'm sure one of you ladies here knows it.

Summary: Please help me find it. Bella and Alice are best friends from high school I think. And they lie about their ages to get a tattoo. Edward is the tattoo artist. I only read chapter one, where at the start Edward finds out the truth about Bella. If you know of this fic please let me know. It was rated M and had about 3 chapters.

I noticed this story came up in the P2P listing, but there wasn't a copy in the zip folders, and I did a search (promise!) but nothing came up.

It's as outtake from Bronzehairedgirl620's Stop, Drop, and Roll. Since the author posted it separately, and 'Backdraft' is listed as MIA on the P2P list, I thought I would post it.

hi! i've read a fanfic a long time ago and i can't remember the title nor the author. i think it was pulled before it was completed, but i would deeply appreciate it if someone can help me.

edward and bella are both adopted by carlisle and esme. for some reason, bella can't sleep alone so she sneaks into edward's room at night. they get busted one night, so edward was sent away. then they meet again a few years later (they actually have a one night stand). bella does not recognize him until the morning after because edward kept her red ribbon after all those years they were apart.

again, i'd really appreciate it if someone could help me.

I remember reading this and liking the author quite a bit. Looks like after 4 chapters, it's been set adrift.

Welcome back Griddy! It's nice to see you here again. Thanks for the upload.

Why thank you, fanficgrrrrrl! I've been getting all my files in order, and as you can see, I am at the letter 'b' for Backdraft.

I had figured out a while back I was missing a whole bunch of files. I searched and searched, and lo and behold, there they was: gone.

But just like that, I stumbled across it on an old USB back up, that I must have cut and paste instead of copied over. There among my other mislabeled rob-pron files, such as 'pancake recipes' and 'Knitting 101' and simply 'shoe-NOT ALLOWED' was a whole whack of stories I thought I had lost. Most of it is what everyone else has and hand-copied to boot, since it was before the great and terrible arrival of FLAG (puts hand over chest). Finding all those old pics and files was like a January Christmas, I swear. Hopefully I will find some other missing fics (crosses fingers)

Don't get your hopes up, like I said, I tended to copy the popular stuff. No, I don't have Cosmo’s and Clueless by DanceFreak22. (I swear, I bet we'll all be disappointed if that long lost fic ever gets found: all the anticipation, you know?)

I have been uploading all my docs into a master excel files, and I was wondering if there was a master 'wish list' (search and rescue? Missing personals advert copy?) out there? What about old requests on stp? I have the P2P list, but that's about it.

The Cullen's still live around ( but in a farm), I think Bella works in a dinner?
They don't know about the daughter.
When Edward comes back, after some discussion, he takes Bella and the daughter back to the farm to meet the Cullen's.

I know I flounced that, but I actually liked that even tho Edward left Bella to be a womanizing whore, Bella still had s.e.x with other men.

Oh, I think she calls a radio station to talk to his manager and tell her that Edward has a kid.

Bella has a young son and James is abusive. She works at a hospital and a coworker helps her to get away, she sets her up with a guy who gives her a new identity as well as her son's new identity and points her to Forks (I think Charlie is her coworkers brother), and so Bella poses as the niece(?) of Charlie. The Cullens are vampires, and Edward stops a car from hitting her son at a daycare and so her son believes Edward is a "super-hero" and this helps the boy from telling anyone. Edward listens to Bella read fairytales to her son at night and he falls in love with them both. OH, and when Esme and Rose find out Bella has a son they go kinda crazy and buy all kinds of stuff, and I think they break a window trying to practice with a soccer ball!

This is such a precious story and I'm not sure if it was pulled but it's no longer on my favorites list. Sometimes I find that a story just kind of drops off.

Does anyone know the name or name of the author?

Jasper is a dom and Bella is his sub. She's married to Edward who doesn't know that she is Jasper's sub. Jasper starts training Edward to be a dom. Bella overhears them one time when she finishes showering. Jasper gave Bella a special necklace.

Bella and Jasper are brother and sister. Bella is raped by Jacob. Jasper and Bella then move to Forks to start over, where they meet the Cullens, but Bella is struggling, thinking she sees Jacob everywhere.
