My 1st and  probably last experience of non HEA is In place no one will find  by careecee..author gave warning that its chracter death & inspired from  film walk to remember. But it was so twisted  written message that me along with so many readers assumed that Alice will die.Imagine Our surprise & shock when she added twist from My Sister's Keeper  & killed bella.  I am not  person who leave nasty reviews,  hell i only write reviews when story touch my heart..But author definately got tons of bad reviews for this one.and she pulled story before it finish..Now she had promised that she will complete story and send PDF via email if u request. I  am waiting for her mail.i want to see how she will give edward HEA. It was really amazing story in begining.Its very rare that author do justice & present something new in highschool fic.But last 5-6 chapter before she pulled were complete disaster. I  remember after bella's death in story i was litteraly begging to my twi friends for some humor, funny fics.

Exactly!  Unfortunately, this new singer is basically Bella reincarnated.  She's clumsy and reminds Edward of human Bella.  Her name is Annabelle and her freesia smell is much stronger than Bella's.  He also can't read her mind.

  The author did post an alternate HEA ending, but it was too late.  I couldn't un-read the previous chapter.  If you have something stuck in your eye that can only be dislodged by tears or you need to scare off a man with your gut-wrenching sobs, this is the one for you!


I read Open Up Next to You (I will never learn my lesson) and I tried to read Eden Burning.  Is there some setting on my browser that can steer me away from these stories?  I'm an emotional wimp

I love Savage's stuff - I'm sure this one was somewhat tongue -in-cheek. And? Although they mostly are HEA, she doesn't guarantee it.

hmm.... I had heard good things about this - or so I thought.  Guess no one read it to the end.  Though it does have an HEA for Bella. 

And?  They get into a sudan to drive to the store.  I always wonder how a country can be used to go to a store. 

I wish I had - I was completely unprepared to deal with an unHEA at the time.  That fic makes me sad to this day (and I read it back in '08-'09).  Every review I read was basically the same:  "brilliant author, but now I'm miserable/gutted/depressed/empty..."  I'm surprised I didn't cause a flood with all of my crying.  It's posted on the original thread.  Read it if you dare!

Now that I have it I'm not sure if I'm brave enough to read it! I read mamasutra's What's Done Cannot Be Undone and I must say, though really well written, it kind of peed me off..

It had a sequel, The Space Between not sure if that has a HEA I've never read any of her stories after that one, too scared!

No even sequel doesnt has HEA..It  start with Thier son's HS graduation. like after 18 yr.Seriously if you  love EB HEA story so dont read this one.I didnt read it but i heard so much about story in other sites  that i checked 1st & last chapters of this stories & read few reviews.. & it was kind of depressing.

After the HEA's I like to switch it up Well written heartfail does the trick 

LOL! Sometimes I like a non-HEA.  Though it's usually when I'm reading a Lauren or Jessica story 

Yeah, I've read a few OS or short stories about them.
