ETD - re-read - you read ff so no piracy.

I'm reading Edward Wallbanger by Feathersmmmm. After Dusty and Pound of Flesh, I needed humour and 193/566 pages in, it's working for me.

3 hours sleep. 2 others in bed with me. NOT IN THE FUN WAY!

3&5yo nephew and niece. I ended up along the bottom of the bed and finally made it to deep sleep at 4:45 to be woken by 3yo with "Aunty Fanfar (Sandra), I think it's morning now. Can I play Angry Birds on your phone?"

Mad scramble to clear browsing history!!! Then had to stand beside potty for 15 minutes while he played angry birds and peed like a big boy.

Getting tubes tied tomorrow.

No I only read Twific. I refuse to pay for badly written/edited published books when there are so many better stories/authors on fanfic for free. I had a look at a few stories in the library and was astounded at how many sounded like fanfics I have already read. Couldn't be arsed after that. 36C by the way!

So currently reading The Seduction Of Edward Cullen, well, not really, I'm actually reading Bring On the Wonder but this is my "pit-stop". In this story Bella's step-mother is Heidi, has been for 3 years.They have moved from Forks to Phoenix for Charlie's job, Edward and Bella start dating, Bella goes to dinner at Edward's on Chapter 10, sits down and Carlisle says ""So, Tanya isn't your actual mother is she?" I stop, blink and continue reading...three, four lines in I'm waiting for Bella to say, "No she isn't actually, my step-mother's name is Heidi" she never does....

See, this is why beta readers exist! I've flounced on stories that continually make mistakes like that (first Alice is Edward's sister, then his cousin/their job changes all the time). It's just poor proof-reading.

I read once a fic summary where Bella lived in Forks and went everyday to Phoenix by train to go to college. On the train she met Edward... I don't know if she ever arrived at college, but I think those two had tons of time to get to know each other, lol
I laughed so hard, I never could read it. That author not only needs a beta, she needs lessons in geography!

And the best sentence ever I've read in a fic?

"I paid the taxi driver with a 30 dollar bill."

No, no typo, she really meant it... it's a sad sad world...

On the Geography note, I read one the other day where her and Jasper were in Cincinnati, Ohio....by the Illinois border.

Maybe there are $30 bills in lolli pop land? Or maybe she meant I paid with thirty dollar bills. It's all in the grammar and whatnot.
