Sorry for posting one right after another ( ) , but I really wanted to recommend this story! ( ) Forever by monkeymoe ~ You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login Summary: Five hundred years. Four past lives. Three lost souls. Two lovers. One last chance.Bella has spent the last twenty-five years of this life knowing of her soul's past quests and heartache. When passing a familar stranger on a busy New York street has her spiraling into the past, she must push through to insure a future with her soul's counterpart. To fail would be to die. Rated for some dirty time in the beginning and probably later on, language, violence. Also a heads up if you're touchy on slight religion about reincarnation. One more note - There will be some talk of suicide. Nothing too detailed, but there none the less.
Tell us why you want to recommend it. What was good, what wasn't?
Altered Measures by kitchmill. A good Musicward. And Daddyward. Because broken rubbers always result in babies in fics. It did feel really familiar as I was reading it, but it wasn't until I got near the end I knew for sure I was rereading it and checked my review history. It was about a year ago. So funny.
Broken rubbers, 1 missed pill, antibiotics - all these things immediately result in babies. Bella always has morning sickness really early in her pregnancy. So irritating....
LOL! I always figured most of those writers were never pregnant and thought it was normal. I usually avoid the pregnant Bella stories. Though if it's a secondary part of the story, it's fine. I've just seen marriages forced by pregnancy. None of them worked out. Now when they were in a committed relationship and then got pregnant? Much more success.
I agree. The pregnant - super sperm stories have to have a lot more going for them for me to stick with them. I've been reading a story recently (by a well known author) that they've been together about three weeks and she is already showing signs of being pregnant. Did any of you with children know you were pregnant that fast? I certainly didn't. Since the writer went that route, I haven't been reading the updates. I might go back when it's finished, but I didn't think the pregnancy so early was necessary. I sometimes think authors put it in because they don't know how else to progress their storyline.
Apparently, fka twigs is going to be on Jimmy Fallon this week. Don't know which day.
So, I've been reading Harlequins/Boons & Mills books since I was 13. There seem to be only so many storylines, I've found. And most get used in Twifics. The super-sperm does seem to run through the most stories, even when babies aren't a main part of the story.... And then, every once in a while, something different comes around....
After i discovered explicit adult books and fanfics in 2012 (thank you FSoG!), i have not been able to get into Harlequins/Mills & Boon books. once a year, i would read a Cathy Williams, Sharon Kendrick, penny Jordan or Carole Mortimer M&B. But after 1, i revert to my ever growing ipad library. I like the way they write, but M&B has become too tame for my tastes. Blaze has too much s e x scenes which i tend to skip and these being so short, there is no "emotion" to invest in the story or the characters. Give me nolebucgrl, drotuno, colleen hoover, kristen ashley et al any day.Am currently reading Tammy Falkner's Reed brothers series and am really enjoying it so far. I like how the brothers put importance to family/helping each other out despite their challenges. She even has 2 versions of the first 2 books featuring Logan (1 version with less s e x so her underage kid can read it. though her sexy stuff wasn't too much for me). Give it a try if you want light, fluffy read with a bit of drama (i.e. Deaf hero, abused heroine, cancer etc.). You know, despite the "heavy" situation, you still feel uplifted. Yeah, hard for me to explain my feeling but i rec it Am on book 4 (3rd of 5 brothers).
Hey Loopy! Been meaning to ask but keep forgetting (or i still thought i can figure it out), what's the name of the guy removing his shirt in your sig? First i thought it was Tom Hardy but I don't recall him having those tattoos? Other days i think he's a cross between Toby Maguire and Shia Lebouf (though am 1,000% sure it's neither of them). Is the guy an actor or just some random model/hot dude you saw in the internet. Btw, thanks for having that awesome gif of cris evans. Love that guy too! Edit: dang it, it is Tom Hardy. Finally thought to google tom hardy tattoos
Lol, your post really laugh hun - how you talked yourself out of thinking it was Tom Hardy and then realising it was him. I love Tom's tatts but I think we all know that I just love tatts in general, to the point that I had another one today while visiting my brother in his lunch hour, but don't tell the hubby as he keeps saying I've go too many already so hopefully he won't notice it for a week or two. All I can say is Thank God that my brother and his BFF own and run the Tattoo shop so I get them cheaper. Just noticed that I've got a whole beard theme going on as well with my sigs and avi.
After the picture Ive seen going around of Tom Hardy on FB I am disappoint the man is hot but sorely lacking. Which reminds me so is Alexander Skarsguard Damn I loved that viking of a man and when they zoomed out on Trueblood missed that shot of a lifetime but thanks to some people saw that and am disappointed again
