Tricklem asked what everyone was/is reading. Not to shock everyone and give them heart failure but I am actually reading a Twilight fic. Someone, either on this thread or the 152 thread in the past 2 weeks mentioned A BA in BS by My Heroine. I salute and thank whoever did mention it. I started this fic umpteen years ago on Twilighted and it got pulled after the first chapter which bummed me out and I said crap - actually it was more colorful. Bella fics when I first started reading them many moons ago were all the same when Edward left her in Eclipse. She turned into a spineless jellyfish. She either ended up in a mental institution, ended up on strung out on drugs, became a stripper, got involved in abusive relationships (where she was smacked around), got bitten by Victoria and turned into an equally pathetic vampire. Then people started writing Bella fics where she developed a spine and moved on and got a life. A BA in BS was one of them. Needless to say - I am having a blast. It has a few spags but not enough to make me stop reading.

It was me looking for A BA in BS. When I found that story she had already finished AB and was 10 chaps into Master of ceremonies. All of the above is true. I love stories were Bella dust herself off, and live her life . I get SM'S concept of the mating bond, but some fics took her downward spiral to far.

That's an old story. I remember seeing it as a WIP. Thinking it was pulled & reposted? I need to check my WIP library.

I take that back. It was complete in 2012. I have a PDF of it.

So I finished The Girl in the Meadow by Simaril. I enjoyed it, though there were some angsty parts where I had to do something else for a while. It is a Twilight/NM Alternative with a time travel twist. Jacob is a good guy. Although he still thinks he is in love with her, he knows she doesn't love him and doesn't push it. She has a couple other Vampwards I haven't read yet. I may have to try them.

Bella arrives in Forks with a lifetime of memories of Edward and their time together. The only problem is that Edward hasn't met her yet. Time travel, love and forever share in a story of longing and waiting for the right moment to start their forever. Twilight/New Moon AU.

So now I need something else to read.... 30,000+ stories and nothing to read....

I realized A BA in BS isn't in my Calibre Rebuild for some reason - I made it after the last time the library crashed. I still had all the epubs, but I guess it didn't located them as being books and didn't add them to the new library. So I'm adding it back now. Thank goodness Twilight Archives is one of the ones that actually works with Calibre FanFic Fare.

Vancouver --Canuck-Girl posted a couple of OS's from some contests. Just to let you know, one is not an HEA. But it was short. She was trying out angst. The other one was cute.

Booked, hope You had some "me" time in Spain. I was there 10 yrs ago...enjoyed the shopping!

What can I say about EL, she could give Christian a run when it comes to control issues. I guess she has a vision for her books. I read that when she couldn't get an exact replica of Charlie Tango because it didn't exist she went ape shite!
Is FSoG/MotU a love story? I think so. As the story develops you can see Christian change to become the man he was meant to be with Ana's help. A story of redemption and sacrifice...that ultimately led to love...yeah, sappy and simplistic, I know.
I must say, I like the scuff on Jamie, your man looks hot Loopy.

I'm with you Ella, a never ending tbr list and can't find crap to read! I'm going to see if Ada Scott's Still a bod boy 2 is available yet, that's a real book I want to read. Maybe Loner? I've never read that either.

Yes, she is still around. I usually wait until they are complete to read because she is a slow updater and I can't remember what what going on.

I'm working my way through stories by wtvoc (with the vamps of course). I'm reading Scotch, Gin and the New Girl, which is based on Les Liaisons Dangereuses/ Cruel Intentions. It also reminds me of Beautiful, Dirty, Rich by kikiblue (on Twilighted). Edward is a manwh0re. Jasper has a great line when describing Edward: "He's not exactly discriminatory when it comes to bed fellows. It's easier to get down his pants than it is to get his phone number."

Just finished Awake in the Infinite Cold by Quothme and it was amazing!! It was a fanfiction of 3 different universes, which sounds really odd but it was executed really well.

Sometimes the fruit is forbidden for a reason. A mélange of Twilight and How to Be, with an Artward who so carefully and so softly sneaks under her skin and into her soul. Not your typical E/B romance. Complete.

It was the first time reading a Mental(?)ward, and I really enjoyed it. Onto the next fic!

I'm looking for some recommendations. I'm a fan of Bella and Edward stories where Edward is some kind of vampire Prince/ King. I love when they are mates because to me that's so romantic. Some examples of stories I've loved are : captive by tot teacher, and blood by cupcakeriot.
Anyways I hope I'm doing this right and I really apologize if I'm not!
