This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general. But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

Yeah, no updates since around Friday. Not sure what's going on. I just check back every so often.

Trippin is at number 1 with Dusty at 2 and True Love Way at 3.....after that it get a bit hazy

Wide Awake was the last fic I read that made me feel like this! I still can't figure out the title... I get part of it, but seems like a strange choice. LOL

Overall best fics...True Love is by Teambella. I don't think YG uses titles in the same way as you'd imagine; I don't think they have 'meaning' as such, or necessarily tie into the fic..I've read all of her stuff and none of them seem to unless they are competition entries...

No hun I wish I was, but I'm certainly not one of her Beta's I can't even write a shopping list let alone help someone write a fic.

I do love her writing though.

Overall best fics...True Love is by Teambella. I don't think YG uses titles in the same way as you'd imagine; I don't think they have 'meaning' as such, or necessarily tie into the fic..I've read all of her stuff and none of them seem to unless they are competition entries...

I am currently not adding any new fics to my ereader until I put a bigger dent in the over 400 that are already on there, I am just collecting new ones in Callibre to add at a later date (and that list keeps growing).

Welcome to the club...story of my life!

I used to have 1500 fics on my Sony. I reduced them to 500 by making a "real" TBR list, but I can't stop adding recs to it. So I'm at 700 fics on my e-book-reader at the moment. I don't want to talk about Calibre though. I'm getting seriously scared whenever I open it. $:-\$
I started to randomly read fics, but now I'm back to taking recs, because I got disappointed too often.

I'm halfway through Trippin, Slippin, Stumbletumblin and I'm still unsure about it. I like it and there are passages which are just wonderful and fantastic, but if I have to compare, I'd prefer Dusty. Like Demaris stated the other day: TeamBella kept Dusty real. Trippin is at times just a little too out of touch with the real world. Well...as real as it can be...it's vampward after all. Trippin is more poetry than novella to me. Can anybody understand what I mean?

I'm still curious how the story goes on though. I had to get into her writing first.

That's a good idea! But I have this irrational fear that all my fics will be gone if I don't put them in my Kindle. LOL

HAHAHAHA My list just goes on and on and on and on. Every time I see a link posted on FB, I click it, save it if it's complete! :p

I've encountered problems using StoryMaster.Whenever I download stories from TWCS via StoryMaster, there seems to be a couple of chapters missing from a story. For example, I DL'd Fertile Dreams by WeeKittyandTAT, and Chapter 9 wasn't downloaded. I also downloaded Raising the Steaks and I'm missing chapters 14-18. Now, I'm checking through ALL the stories I have and most of them seem to be missing at least a chapter..

I hope you can help me solve this. If not, at least share the same sentiment! LOL

All the time! It's bad when I know there was something I wanted to read but I can't remember the name and there are so many pages and pages of titles with no info. $:-\$

I quit using Storymaster, partially because it took so long to get stuff, I would forget I requested it and ask again. But also because I wasn't liking the format. Calibre has been the best for me. Though the standalone FFDL also gives good results, it is limited on the sites it will work with.

I'm hoping Flagfic will be back soon. It was always great for grabbing a single story. And never a problem with format.

This is the story of my life and I'm constantly adding to my TBR list. I try and read an older fic but most of the time I get distracted by newer ones I've been waiting to read once completed.

I was so afraid of being overwhelmed with fics so I've tried to keep my TBR list to only around 50. I've got a full list right now so I only add things if someone says that I HAVE to read it and gives me a good reason why. (*cough* Demaris!) With that being said, I've got like 500 real books on that TBR and have no idea how I'll ever get through them all. Have you guys seen About Time with Rachel McAdams? I thought it was cute that the dad's favorite thing about being able to go back in time was to read every single book he's ever wanted to read... he never runs out of time!

That's my worry too! I keep hoping that I'll always have PTS and my pals here in the book club to supply me if I ever run out.
