Oh right, makes sense now after looking at them again.  :D
Don't like meringue as it's too sweet.

Kristina Sanchez is Lyricalkris, whose fics I absolutely love.
I'm pretty sure all the books she's released so far has been OF, I've got all her books but not got around to reading them yet.

Oh!!! I didn't know!! I love Lyricalkris's fics too! [emoji173] I'll have to browse around for more of her books. [emoji51]

Now some equal time for Rob.  and just for the record Rob you are adorkable - always have been - yes you are eccentric and a little weird - although much less so since you started getting older.

Robert Pattinson Imagines Future As Dad And Raising Kids

By Michael Lewittes | 5:06 pm, August 11th, 2015

Robert Pattinson talks about wanting to be a dad and what his kids might be like in a new interview. When asked whether he’s interested in having children in an interview with German-language magazine Jolie, Pattinson says he definitely wants kids, but “I just don’t know when.”

The actor plays a terrible father in the upcoming film Life, the true story about the friendship of photographer Dennis Stock and James Dean, played by Dane DeHaan. Pattinson explains in his interview that he was very much attracted to the role of Stock because, “At my age, you don’t get too many chances to play a dad, and certainly not one who leaves his family.” He’s quick to note, however, that he sees his future fatherhood “differently.”

Pattinson is questioned by the magazine whether it will be hard for his future kids to have a famous father. The handsome actor responds he doesn’t imagine it will be difficult, and adds that he thinks his kids will be “totally cool and confident.” However, the self-deprecating star says his kids will probably wonder why he’s so “weird” and “eccentric.”

As Gossip Cop has reported, Pattinson and FKA Twigs got engaged a few months ago, and have not commented on any immediate plans to have children. Tell Gossip Cop what you think about Robert Pattinson’s comments about his future fatherhood

Also from Robsessed, promotional pics of Rob in Queen of the Desert and Rob promoting both Life and Childhood of a Leader at two film festivals in September.  Guess what twigs baby - Rob ain't got time for you the rest of the year.

Weirder than Cosmopolis?  That's hard to believe.

I was going to say I owned it but hadn't watched it yet but then I realized I haven't even bought it yet.  I'm slipping.  Of course its weird - its a David Cronenberg movie - its an allegory (?/take off) of Hollywood.  Julianna Moore was nominated for a Golden Globe for her role as the unbalanced actress that he nails in the back seat.  She lost to herself by winning for Still Alice.  It abounds in weird characters including the psychiatrist's daughter (Mia W.) who's a pyromaniac who's just gotten out of a mental health care facility.  Her brother is a spoiled Hollywood brat.  Did you ever read any of Rob's interviews on the movie.  He admitted Hollywood was weird but if you were lucky you'd find a few well - adjusted people.

And while we are talking weird, anyone want to see twigs' new video?

I was going to watch until I saw it was 16 minutes long.  Yeah, don't like her music that much.

I'm from the early Van Halen school of music - "if it's over 3 minutes, we get bored"   :D :D :D :D :D

So, I had to go to LA for work and stopped at a Walgreen's and this kid (okay, he must have been in his 20's) came up to me and said "hey, I wanted to give you a compliment.  You look really nice.  Are you staying around here?  Do you want to get together sometime?"

So, he was fairly good looking, though I wasn't crazy about the neck tattoo, but it was small.  But it was really weird.  And frankly?  He did look kind of gay.  Couldn't figure out if he was a scammer or actually serious.  Since I am old enough to be his mother, I'm sure.  I told him I didn't live there and I was married, and he took off.  LOL! So strange.  I haven't been picked up in a long time it seems.... Kind of nice.  ;D

We get so skeptical as we get older, don't we?  I was walking to my car with a friend at the mall when a guy pulled up, looked me up and down and said I looked really nice.  Of course, I think I would have been suspicious under those circumstances no matter what my age.  But no matter how suspicious of the motives we are, we still enjoy the compliment.  We're such girls!   :P

LOL! Yes! The compliment was very nice and I did thank him.  It was just strange when he started following me around the store and then asked me out.   :P

Probably didn't help that I had flipped my wedding rings to my right hand.  I had a ring on my right hand that was falling off but it fit on my left ring finger, so I switched the rings.  I actually kind of wondered if he was an um escort - to put it nicely - looking for work.  I didn't think I looked desperate.   :D :D :D :D

Strange this subject should come up this week on basically the same subject.  Our site administrator on InDeath started a thread on the Adult Forum earlier in the week called Cougars Anonymous.   I think the conversation is at a stalemate because we can't agree on how old you have to be to be a cougar and whether its okay to be flattered if the guy is 29 and you're 50.  At any rate - can I just say to the two of you - be flattered.   Plus - there's an ad on either TVLand or MeTV for e-harmony.com - this one has an older couple ( I don't know - maybe late 50"s ?) talking about being attracted to each other and never in a million years did she think she'd be a cougar at her age dating someone younger (to be perfectly honest - he looked older but there is a message there - in fact probably more than one message.)

I actually do like younger men.  But I prefer them to be out of their 20's.   :P

And yes, my husband is about 4 years younger than me!   ;D

If he even looked at me a little too long (RP) I'd be on him like that guy following you around in Walgreens...lol
He'd def. call security.
I guess age makes us doubtful..I.e is the compliment really genuine?  I always look around to see if they're really talking to me or someone else.
I remember once when I was with my son, maybe 6 months ago some random guy said you look really sexy...my son stopped, looked at the guy and said ...are you seriously hitting on my mom?
Course I laughed and felt flattered then jumped my son because, I mean, really, was he trying to say his mom was not attractive?
Yes, FFG, more weird than Cosmopolis. Maps is on Cmax, so if you guys have it check it out

I think it was the strange way he tried to compliment me.  I've had guys flirt with me and give me compliments, but he was a little strange.

But otherwise, I think it is great when someone says something nice to me.  Though, I think it probably embarrassed your son  :P

Kids never see their parents as sexy people.  It is just weird.  :D :D :D :D

So I looked it up and set it to record so I can watch it when my husband is not around.  I don't think he would appreciate it, especially because the only reason I am watching it is for RPattz.....

You should be flattered! Then wary!  :D :D yeah, age does come with some cynism. If that were to hapoen to me, i would smile and thank him while tightening my grip on my handbag  :D :D

Talking about not thinking your folks are sexy. I remember one of our annual parties to celebrate my dad's bday/grand family reunion. This was in the 70's and those big video cameras just came out. My dad, his siblings and their spouses would take to the dance floor to boogie and swing then form a conga line. It was fun looking at them but we were thinking, ewww, they're old, why do they have to dance like that. They were just in their  40's/early 50's then. When us cousins watched that video again after all these years, it was fun and sad, only 5 of the 16 are still alive.  :(

Now when me and my husband's friends get together, i realize, we are now the age of my parents. Of course i think we still look good and realize that's the same thing my parents/uncles thought while dancing the night away decades ago. And now i look at what the other people see when we go out...a bunch of fun loving friends or a bunch of old geezers trying to reclaim their youth?  ;D :-\ :P

Well, whatever it is, have fun living whether you're  sexy, fat, cougar, young or old. And do take time to enjoy those compliments...they're very good for the mind, body and soul.  :) ;)

Holy cow, no one has been in here for days!!!! I had to back and check to see if I've been receiving notifications or not.....I just knew there was a glitch somewhere.
So let me tell you what's up with me since y'all ain't talking.
I'm on vacation in Myrtle Beach...sucks..it's raining. The most excitement I've had is looking from my balcony and hearing someone yell shark. 'Course hubs dashed inside for his binoculars...yeah, no shark in sight. Hubs not too happy, he was hoping for some action. We head to Asheville tomorrow....hope it's gonna get better.

So, I read Vi Keeland's Cocky Bastard, hoping to alleviate this boredom. Let me say...the CB turned out to be a
Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.
. He started being a CB but fell flat, imo, in later chapters.
Oh, and let me tell you the absolute bestest news...my oldest son called just to say hi and also to let me know my youngest son wants to have a sit down convo when we get back. The oldest just wanted to prepare me so I wouldn't overreact when I got the news....the news?  The 22 yo is dating a 32 yo. I still tell this little shite to pick up his underwear off the floor and clean his room to get rid of the science experiments that abound in that hovel!
And how was your week?
