Not feeling very torture-y, yet you are reading DIA?  LOL, from the descriptions here,  that book sounded like torture.

Though once you get it done, I guess the rest are better.

*ahahah.. Ok, yes, that is very true! Then maybe I have reached my limit for the time being.  :P  At least the writing is good, even if it is A LOT of it.  8)

Robert Pattinson To Receive New Hollywood Award At Deauville Film Festival

By Andrew Shuster | 11:05 am, August 24th, 2015

Robert Pattinson will be presented with the New Hollywood Award at the annual Deauville American Film Festival, which takes place from September 4-13 in Northern France. Pattinson is expected to attend the event to accept the award, which is a brand new addition to the ceremony founded 40 years ago.

In addition to his award, Pattinson’s upcoming film Life will be screened at the festival. As Gossip Cop has reported, the actor stars in the film as photographer Dennis Stock. The movie is based on the real-life friendship that grew between a Life magazine photographer who was assigned to shoot pictures of James Dean (Dane DeHaan).

As Gossip Cop previously noted, the first trailer for Life was released earlier this month. Pattinson sports darker hair and a New York accent for his role in the film, directed by Anton Corbijn and co-starring Ben Kingsley and Joel Edgerton. The movie had its world premiere in February at the Berlin Film Festival, but does not yet have a U.S. release date.

Elizabeth Olsen is also being honored with the New Hollywood Award at the awards ceremony in Deauville. In addition to Pattinson and Olsen, other stars slated to be in attendance at the Deauville American Film Festival are Jake Gyllenhaal, Keira Knightley, Josh Brolin Orlando Bloom, Ian McKellen, Patricia Clarkson and Keanu Reeves

I saw some of the pictures for Life on Robsessed. So hot. I really love him in a suit. The only thing that would make it better was if he had sex hair. Sigh.   ;D

I was just thinking the same thing about those books, don't think I will be starting them anytime soon, based on some of the descriptions here.

Oh honestly  ladies, he has not lost the sex hair.  The film was about James Dean - the 50's, 60's look - he went back to his normal look after he did the movie.

Hello my lovelies, hope you're all well.
I've not been on much the last week as we've got some of the hubby's family visiting from up country which is nice but hard work.

Turns out I'm now on my hubby's aunts sh!t list, as I put her and her husband in our outhouse/playroom as we ran out of room in the house. She was so shocked (and slightly disgusted) by our whips/chains/riding crops/floggers etc we keep on the walls (if we knew they were visiting in advance, I would of hid them somewhere) in there that she refused to sleep there until they were removed - thank god, our chest of drawers and cupboards in there are all locked up as she would of probably booked it to the nearest B&B/hotel ASAP.  :D

At least they go home tomorrow, which means we get the house to ourselves for a few days before my daughter goes to college and Saxon goes back to playgroup (pre-school) next week.  :cheer: :cheer:

Sorry Ruth, I agree with Ficfangirl.  I haven't seen the sex hair in a while.  All these films with buzz cuts and really short hair.  :'( :'( :brokenheart: :ohcrap:

Though I gotta admit, sleeping in someone else's playroom would be weird.   :-*

I think next time you just tell them you have no room and let them go to the B&B first!  But...I'm with Ella, it would feel a little odd...or maybe, with enough alcohol, a little naughty, to be in someone else's playroom.  I don't think having the evidence removed after I'd seen it would make the least bit of difference.

Lol, that's what I said to the hubby, they should warn us in future.  :P :P

I'm with you hun, I wouldn't wanna sleep in someone else's playroom either I'd definitely have a nose around though just find out if they had better toys than me.

Definitely not a bad thing, I was kind of hoping that's what they would do but that isn't the case I'm sure they'll do that next time though if I hint to them enough.  >:D :D

Lol, at least they only seen our tame items about the place and not some of our other toys as I'm sure it would of been front page news - the hubby's aunt is pretty conservative and thinks anyone married shouldn't be having/talking etc about anything sexual and I think y'all know by now that's just not how I roll.  ;) :D

Jeez, where's the fun in that? Being old and married gives you the freedom to talk about s e x and bring laughs. You are given the immunity to say funny, shocking, silly, exciting things to add spice to conversations  :P Well, am guilty of that and i enjoy giving people that belly-laugh-with-hand-slapping-the-table to my relatives, friends and close officemates telling raunchy jokes or sexual spins to innocuous stuff. This is why i always love your stories, Loopy, i live vicariously through them.  :) :D :D Am just glad there hasn't been any injuries in a while (ooohhhh, i hope I didn't jinx it!)  :P

Fantasyland Series of Kristen Ashley
« Reply #3718 on: August 25, 2015, 07:37 AM »
Just have to say this was the bomb! Had a great time reading the 4 books. Can't wait for the last one, which hasn't been written yet  :( But hey, it didn't end in a cliffhanger so if you are into paranormal, medieval yet contemporary stuff, do give these a try!  :)

Btw, any idea when nolebucgrl will finish Getting Blitzed? Been dying to read it but it's still a WIP at 51 chapters  :P

Love KA's Fantasyland series!  Don't talk about it!  I'll start wanting to re-read.

Nolebucgrl recently said she only had a couple more chapters for the story, so it should be complete soon.  She's been really good about posting weekly.
