I gotta agree with you hun about those edits you mentioned but it still doesn't stop my love for Dusty, I think anyone whose read both would agree with you hun that the fic is (slightly) better but that still doesn't take anything away from the published version. Have I ever steered you wrong on the links I post. I'm only about 5/6 chapters in so far and it's pretty good, the only thing I'll tell you is that Charlie is a right b*stard. I kinda of see what's gonna happen soon, but I just hope that the angst sticks around for a bit. I tried to avoid Dusty but I just couldn't ignore it any longer and finally decided to dive right in. I can tell you that it changed the way I think about all fanfictions now... I mean, nothing can really compare to the level of "feels" this one will cause you! It is really long, and drawn out in parts, but I think it needed to be so that you could really appreciate their journey!Is this your third reading of Dusty? I was hoping the second round for me wouldn't affect me quite as much... I couldn't think of anything else for weeks after reading it. I've never read the outtakes and I think you steered me away from reading the futuretake? So, what have you been talking to YG about? I really want to message her just to tell her how much I think she is the Queen of Awesome!
Third reading?! God no. I read it back to back 3 times when it was first completed, then I'd dipped in and out when I got a craving, I'd been 'sober' for a year but as the saying goes, you can't cure addiction ....The futuretake really doesn't do the story justice and TB should have listened to YG and left well enough alone....IMO. I think both TB and YG are awesome but I tend to 'speak' to YG more, you know how when a couple gets divorced they split assets? Yeah, she unluckily got me, I'm the ugly serving platter old Aunt Mertel gave as a present and never got used

Be sure and check out the music selections too! There is one song by Mumford and Sons that reminds me so much of Dusty! Still puts me right back in that mindset!
