Lol, this made me laugh so much - I emailed all 4 of my brothers asking if this was why they made me watch BL when I was younger.

They've not replied yet - I might just start thinking that this was the real if they dont get back to me soon.

Ok, folks, help me out here.

I'm about halfway through And With Thee Fade Away, and I'm getting bored. It's a good story, it's well written, but it's just not holding my attention. It's odd, I like this Edward, I like this Bella ok, it's way different from the norm, which I like, but I'm just not feeling it. I don't have that "awww" feeling when Bella and Edward are together, even their first kiss didn't do anything for me.

I'm at the point where they are at the vampire bar and that Irish dude has found Edward, should I keep reading?

And ahhh thanks for Smith Jerrod, love that picture!

So did I!! Astro did good. I think I have read the story you are talking about, who's the author? If it is the one I read, I'm pretty sure it's gets more interesting after the Irish vamps get involved.

LOL! You just wanted us to look at a naked Chris Atkinson or whatever his name is. I remember girls going crazy over him. I couldn't see the appeal, but I was a little young at the time.

Been and had a quick skim of this, sorry, it's not what I thought it was. The fic I thought it was had them in Ireland, this is a vamp bar in Port Angeles. I can't remember the name of the one I was thinking of, it was a long time ago that I read it. Knowing me it was probably a Jasper/Bella.

Ella, could you perhaps change the subject line in some of these recent posts about Calibre to say Calibre Info (or something) so that when I one day convert to Calibre (with my 5000+ fics), I can do a search for all of your wonderful tips?

Seriously, I have nicknames for EVERY show I watch. For Top Chef this year - there was the Swedish Chef (I think he is from Denmark or Finland though), Asian Rihanna, Beard Guy, Lesbo-bitch, Glasses Guy, Braid Girl, Tall Guy, Curly Ranga...

Curly Ranga sounds so nasty

Like something a prostitute would have.

I'm the same. River was fine. But that one with the sick kid was sad. Even with the semi HEA.

I've just been outed. By my son. In front of the whole school and all year one parents during his assembly.

The assembly was to celebrate Mums.

I was not expecting my son to stand up and say that his Mummy likes reading stories about Twilight on her computer!

I was mortified!

oh god, my sympathies...

I guess putting a muzzle on your kid is against the law?

Now I've stopped laughing, all those who read in bed beware - falling asleep while reading may cause e-reader to hit you in the face!

Often enough I have to lay down with my little one so he can sleep, so I take my kindle and read...

At least a kindle is better than a hardcover Harry Potter book... they are soo heavy and the edges are really pointy (is that the right word?)... THAT was a bruise that was not easy to explain...

We know you are a good mum cos you care, but explaining if anybody asked - oh I was reading Harry Potter! Reading in bed warning 3 - it is safer to read with a kindle than a heavy book!
