I'm still reading the Gravity series, I'm in the second book, nearly finished and it is still great! Thanks for rec'ing it.

We went to the inner city today and the kids were very scared, seeing all those walls out of sandbags everywhere. But we got away with hardly any damage all in all, other cities are not so lucky...

Thanks lauren for rec'ing Just A Kiss by rtgirl. really liked this! A welcome fluff after the Crossfire series a finished re-reading. Am inspired to read another athleteward now before going to musicianward...

Meanwhile, I will soon re-read the story so I'll be ready when an actual update comes

Is it scary? LOL I'm always looking for a good vampward, but don't want anything with him being evil.

Grasping Darkness is dark, but I wouldn't say scary. WindowWard grows on you. Definitely worth the read.

I'll let you know about the Captive series when I finish. Some SPaG, but easily looked over for the plot so far. The final book just came out in March.

I am still reading Hydraulic Level 5. Great story, well-written, proper amounts of drama, angst, humour and romance but it is just too damn long. I like a slow burn, but I have reached chapter 30, and there are still 10 more chapters left... There are obviously some issues to be adressed, but do you really need more than 200 pages to solve them? Sometimes it is nice to live somethings to the imagination or up to the readers. Oh, and I also dislike plot twist (although this story doesn't have any, it is just a really slow burn...)

Question for those who've read the story:

With all the vampward talk before, I decided to give Erica Stevens' Captive series a shot. While I am enjoying it, I feel the New Moon moment coming, and I just want to skip it. Ugh. BTW, I've completely replaced the leads with B/E for no great reason, and I'm wondering if it will be like this for every book I read from now on.

The first time I read an actual book after months and months of fanfiction, I was totally weirded out by the fact that the main character wasn't named Edward. And it wasn't even a romance

"my Christian" looks nothing like Thor either, he's more like Christian Bale.

Nice and pretty accurate(?) choice, never thought of him. My Christian doesn't really have a face but he looks more 35 than 27...

I have done next to no reading this weekend as I forgot we had a wedding to go to yesterday.

What is it with that Psy bloke? As soon as one of his songs came on the place went nuts - older men (who really should have known better) were busting moves all over the dancefloor! It was a disturbingly entertaining thing to watch.

I though the buffet was cool though - no fancy finger food, just good old chip butties, salt and vinegar and sauces!

Now it's time to find something good to read.

That's the type of food me and the hubby had at our wedding last year as we were trying to do everything on the cheap as we couldn't afford a lot and you can't beat good old finger foods.

P.S. When I was looking over the rec's for vampward a little while ago I don't recall seeing Grasping Darkness by KiyaRaven rec'd. Was that because it slipped people's minds or was I the only one who enjoyed it? or maybe I just missed it...or maybe everyone has just read it already...

After missing out on love, Bella goes thru the motions in life. Forces begin to compel her to go after the only thing she had ever truly wanted... even when that dream is farther out of reach than ever before.

Angsty and nice overall. I have to say that I really liked it, especially the built up to the present day, the plot twists and the fact that it was partially a high school fic. I also enjoyed the subtle Jasper & Alice subplot. On the downside the ending was slighlty rushed.

Completely off topic here but I feel the need to share that Netflix has beeing ripping me off for months!!!

Okay- I 'might' be exagerating, but I've noticed that when I'm outside the US I can stream movies that I can't in the US,a lot of movies.

And that is why I feel Nexflix has been ripping me off.

All this time I've been content with what Netflix has to offer and then I realize it's not giving me all it has.

I remember this fic, I've never read it but I remember a while ago somebody thought it would be a good idea to plagiarize it, I guess who did it thought no one would notice.

But they did notice and it was taken down.
