I think I'm going to love this fic...not in a Dusty love but in a "yeah, this author is putting some real thought into this" kind of love...Sometimes my mind boggles, I want all these fabulous writers to get published and earn money from their endeavours, (as long as they don't pull!) there is so much talent out there..what would all these women do if fan fiction didn't exists? If it was against the law and every time you used the tern Twilight you got sued? Oh wait! That's what the Wicked Witch of the Grey is about.....

I was just reading on another thread about someone searching for a fic.

She was 'educated' about 152 and this thread and replied all attitudey that there were too many pages to look through.

To say the least I was unimpressed. I went through every page and didn't complain. If it's such a hassle, effing google the fics. They effing pop up there!  >:( >:( >:(

Everybody took the time to post, at least take the time to say thank you or see what else there is. *huffs*

Shhhitttt. When I first found PTS I was so damn excited to see all those pages, I combed through each and every post for uploaded fics.

It AMAZES me how many people don't even try to find fics on their own. I search here, google, twilighted, do all I can before I post here.

Someone posted a pron clip of a guy and a girl walking up the stairs where he pushed her against the wall.  I've looked here and on the dark side thread but haven't have any luck. Does anyone know where I can find it?

Savanablue - I agree with you on your rant about 152 thread.  Some people expect it to be handed to them with no effort on their part.  It only takes a second to say thanks for all the work behind the scenes.

I meant to say that earlier on the reply but strange things are happening with my posts tonight - must be the after effects!

I think her OF is the first book I'm excited to read by a fic author.  Not sure if I can remember any other OF by a fic author that I want to read. Anyone know of any others? *scratching my head*

CL Parker has written some original fic that decent.  She wrote fic as clpsuperstar, including Million Dollar Baby.  Her original fic is sold by TWCS and includes Cataclysm, Nexus and Supernova (it's a trilogy).  I've read the first two and enjoyed them.

*grumble* I'm never going to get caught up on this thread.

Now see, I get that, but to come in and say "but there are too many pagessss" without even trying is just a bit rude, IMO.

It was astro, somewhere in the last 10 pages, I think. Definitely last overnight posts.

I'm reading You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login and laughing so much! Bella gets Edward to tell her how children are made - bearing in mind it's 1918, he nearly has a fit trying to do so! Such a good story so far.

Does this happen a lot on FF?  I have read grumblings in authors notes in the past about fics being pulled and wondered what it was about.
I read and enjoyed this one shot - it was tame in comparison to a lot I have read though.  It would seem a lot of authors with high reviews are being 'targeted' for want of a better word.  I would hate for them to leave the fandom because of a bunch of jealous harpies.
Ok - rant over.
This is one of my pet peeves too.  I can find you a bunch of stuff by mostly unknown writers that have graphic sex including three somes, yet they are still there.

CaraNo's stuff is relatively tame though there may be some ethical questions about a student and professor having sex.  But that is no reason to report her.  These people only report the popular ones. I would so love to report them.  >:D

I wish there was an easier/better place to go. TWCS is easier to post on per the writers, than Twilighted, but FFnet is the easiest. AO3 would be good, but you can't comment unless you can sign in.  Since most writers get their "payment" in reviews, it sucks that most readers can't get a sign in.   :-\

I'm seriously thinking of starting it but it being in Rob's POV makes me a bit wary.

Is it complete enough to read?  It shows as not complete in FFnet. I wanted to read it but it hasn't updated in forever....

Chapter 33 is listed as 'Epilogue' in the drop-down menu, so I think it's another case of the author not clicking complete. It's safe to read, no worries ;)

See now I would have looked at this on FF.net and thought it incomplete and moved on, but it is, actually complete, Ella, I looked.

Technically, SM could sue all these writers under copyright law, but since they don't actually make any money AND she is smart enough to know the fanfic keeps people interested in the movies and everything, she allows it.

I'm trying to remember if it was the Star Trek or Star Wars creator that actually allowed books to be published using his characters - of course he got royalties on all the books published and probably got a say in the story line so that they were consistent with his vision.  So everyone was happy.  Except maybe the readers who had to pay for it... :D :D :D :D :D
