Okay. Have to have a SPaG nit pick. What is it with authors and their obsessive use of 'worst' when they should be using 'worse'. Two different words that should be used in two different situations, they are not interchangeable!

Use worse to compare two things and worst to state that one thing is inferior to three or more (i.e. multiple) other things.

"he looked worst, much worst" No he didn't! He looked worse! Ragh! I really wonder sometimes...

Am I the only one who's crazy for this story? I think it has something to do with the fact that it's the only WIP I read.

I read several WIPs, but this is one I can't wait for updates! I love all the little stories around them and Bella and Edward are just so cute there!

I just finished reading Figmentum by Thimbles and you need to read it next.  :)

Figmentum: 1. figment, fiction, invention, unreality; 2. thing formed, devised; 3. image. She coaxes him into existence with every word she writes. What will Bella do when she finds herself falling in love with the main character in her latest novel?

My rant is in the common use of a word that is incorrect: irregardless

A lot of people like to say this specially when they seem to want to stress a point, "I-regardless of what you think" ... I just cringe when i read this word, more so when i hear someone speak it to look "important" or show they know "big words". I always do an inner eyeroll and thought bubble of "Yeah, right" ;D

Hmmm... sounds like a book I read once.  Oh wait, it was a cookbook.  She had all these great little stories with every recipe. She had lived all over the world & they were her favorites.  I don't think I ever made any of them but they sounded good ;)

Yeah, the authors pick up on the fact Bella likes to cook - or more likely - hates to eat her parents' cooking and turn it into too much a lot of the time.  I like the stories where Bella doesn't cook but Edward does  ???

Speaking of cooking fics, has everyone read The Workshop by Danieller123? Bella is a chef/restaurateur a la Gordon Ramsey and Edward is her new sous chef - and Tattward and Daddyward!

I read this as a WIP back in the day and loved it! It was the first fic I read that had a main character death

and it nearly killed me!

I miss Danieller123 - I enjoyed her fics, although the whole Under The Apple Tree marketing thing was a bit arrogant.

Why am I getting ads for something called Cougar Life?

I know they supposedly pick up subjects you talk/read about to pull ads that might interest you.  But other than RPattz, I'm really not much of a cougar. Hmmm, though my husband is almost 4 years younger.... :D :D :D :D

What is it? And do I need one?

Four?

A dozen???

I flounced under the apple tree. She still is around, with a new pen name I think.

Thank you - had a busy day as the family surprised me with a trip to London on Friday, so we stayed at The Savoy, had tea at The Ritz and went to see a show in the West End (saw Spamalot) - the usual touristy stuff.

You have no idea how glamourous that sounds! The Savoy, The Ritz, West End - throw in some strawberries and cream at Wimbledon, a Pimms and some cucumber sandwiches and you celebrated your birthday in my most English fantasy way!

Of course, for a true English fantasy, you'd also need Colin Firth and, of course, Rob but you had family with you so you wouldn't want that!

Another Northerner then :(

Are you younger or older than 20? I'm desperate to not be the youngest person on here any more!

Aww - Little One, you'll always be our baby!

I don't WIP, but I love TheFicChick, so I get excited every time I get an update alert because it means she's one chapter closer to the end. I have read the first chapter of this and from what I say it's up to her usual standard.
