Alice is B's cousin and is married to mike (?) and he is abusive, they have a son together. E is a royal and I think Jasper is king.  I can't remember what happened but I think E's marriage ends and E wants to marry B but another king wants him to marry his daughter. Em and Rose really complicate things when they get married because it forces E's hand as the only available person to be married. B is heartbroken about the turn of events because she wanted to be his wife not his mistress.

OK... I know this is a long description sorry! But I really want to find this fic! Im getting depressed!
Its an Edward/Bella love story - Edward in modern day is interrupted by Emmett when he is lost in his memories of his wife/love/mate from his human life in 1917/8 - none of the Cullen's knew that Edward had a wife - Edward agrees that they have they right to know the truth especially as he know so much about them from his mind reading - Edward begins a recount of his past and the story has many flashbacks to his human life.

It was expected that Edward would marry Bella's sister - but when Bella returns from an extended trip more beautiful etc than ever they begin to fall in love - i vaguely remember them sharing a first kiss in the back garden at a family get together - I also remember Bella running off into the night although i can't remember the catalyst (i think it had something to do with her sister being rude once it came out that they were in love with each other- she saw it as Bella ruining her future) - Edward finds her, I think saving her from some awful men - They story goes on that Bella got pregnant with twins (one boy & one girl) - Edward 'died'.

I think this may have been when it went out of the Edward's past flashbacks.

The Cullen's learn that there are new kids in school? - when at school they learn that they are vampire and invite them over to the house after school. We know that they are Edward and Bella's twin children. They refuse to tell their story until there mother arrives. The Cullens are shocked when they realise that they mean their true birth mother. When she arrives it is to a demonstration of her children showing off their powers to the cullers. I think one of them is levitating the couch? The cullers don't initially see her face because her two children rush at her to hug her and twirl her about etc. I can't remember if Edward and Bella immediately recognise each other, but i think they do...

They story goes on with Bella's flashbacks of her human life and the beginning of her vampire life.

Bella was lost in grief after Edwards 'death' and her sister took advantage of that and got her put into an ASYLUM, taking Bella's twin children as revenge for 'ruining' her life

Bella eventually ran away from the asylum - but James found her just outside - I think James had a confrontation with Jasper (Peter was also there) after he smelled Bella's blood - who possibly was the one to turn her

Now a vampire Bella sought out her children - finding them in a house with her sister and her husband who had tried to convince the twins that they were their parents - upon seeing Bella for the first time they instinctively know who she is and she takes them away and raises them.

When they are older they are trying to convince Bella to turn them into vampires. But she won't unless they are dying. I don't remember what happened to the daughter but the son gets gangrene i think? Or something like that...

Anyway they are both turned and they and Bella will find Edward in Forks a century later.

Looking for one where Bella's mother lives on a commune or cult with her husband. (I think it's Phil) Phil dies, and for some reason Edward is unable to attend the funeral with Bella. So Rosalie and Emmett go with her. While she is there she finds out that her mother is basically the cult slut -Renee tries to convince Bella to stay and join and then the leader of the cult tries to take advantage of her, but does not succeed. I think either Rose or Emmett are there to stop it from happening.

I hate it when I get sucked in by a cool summary, a great premise, or even a hawt looking banner, and the writing does not deliver on the promise. And yet ... ever the optimist, I still go back for more. Hmmmm ....or is that sadism?

.... although I will say I have read some amazing T/YA stuff, and I have read far too many really awful NC-17. If the writing/plot/ etc is good, I'm happy. Over-squeezed artificial lemons, however, can kill a story for me.
 
I mean, I still love a good lemony fic ... let's not get carried away or anything... 

In the case of unfinished fanfic, I think the writers are the sadists and the readers are the masochists.
