Are you looking for a specific fic?  In the upper right hand corner is a search box with a drop down menu. Type in your search criteria and you will probably find the story has already been uploaded.  If you search and can't find what you're looking for, feel free to ask.  Remember that the Index to Uploaded Twilight stories always runs at least a month behind this thread.  So you need to search the current month as well as the Index when you're looking for a story, especially one that has recently been pulled.

Remember - Search before you request and Search before you upload!

Let me make some other suggestions that might make your life easier.  If you click the notify button (at the top or bottom of the page), you'll get an e-mail when something new is posted on the thread.  You can do this for any thread you're interested in following.  Also, if you bookmark the thread, when you access it through your bookmarks, it will have a little red "new" which, if you click on it, will take you to the last place you were on the thread.  This also works if you access the thread through the home page (fanfict alley, then the thread).  You do have to be signed in to get the benefits of the "new" button.  If you go the "notify" route, you'll be accessing from your e-mail and it will take you to the post that you received the notification on.

I am trying to remember the title of a story I read the very beginning of quite some time ago — and then my computer shut down and I could never find it again because my browser lost its history! 

It was a B/E story, and the first chapter (which is all I read) was EPOV.  He is driving home at night (in the rain?) and sees Bella about to kill herself by jumping off a bridge; he stops the car, runs out into the rain, and stops her.  I remember that he gets her off the ledge of the bridge and puts her, dripping wet, in his car before he even knows who she is...and that's all I've got.  I do know that the writing was really very good and I was looking forward to reading the whole thing...and it's been making me crazy ever since.  WHAT was that story???

The only other thing I recall is that he was in kind of a dark place, himself — I can't remember if he was depressed or about to get divorced or what, but I think he *may* have been a doctor?  UGH, I wish I could remember more!!

OMG!!! Thank you so much Delmar! I've been looking for this fic in ages..Much Appreciated...

Hey been racking my brain trying to remember the name & author of a fic I read a while back, and I am coming up blank. So I figured it was time to pull in the big guns......you all.............to help me out.

Emmett & Bella are siblings. Their parents are dead and I think they were living in New York (?could be wrong about the city) and they witness a mob murder. The two of them leave and go on the run and end up in a small rural community with farms etc. I am not sure if it is Forks or not. They end up staying on a farm/bed & breakfast that Edward & his family run while they are hiding. Has an HEA for everyone. Any ideas? This has been driving me crazy. It was complete.

1) Bella x Edward: Bella gets stranded in some kind of storm (rain, snow) and goes to Alice's grandmothers. Edward lives there now and they get together. I think Bella's house is behind Edward's through the woods. Bella has a dog.

2) Bella x Edward: Edward and Emmett are part of the Irish Mafia. They come to Forks looking for wives and choose Bella and Rose. Charlie sells Bella or gives her to Edward. I think the title had something about claddaghs in it.

She woke up after the kidnapping in a silver Volvo with a quiet teenage boy driving. He drives her to the Seattle area, from Forks, where he raises her. He insists she calls him daddy. He is very wealthy, doesn't work, and spends all his time obsessing over Bella. When Bella reaches puberty he begins to sexually abuse her and demands she now calls him Edward. The last few chapters of the story I read had Edward posing as her uncle and living next door to a woman and her son- named Jacob. Jacob is interested in Bella and Edward doesn't like it.

I believe it's a shortish story told mostly in EPOV

Bella lives in the city on her own. It starts out with her working as a waitress in a dinner. Bella is between 19-23..Older Edward becomes infatuated with Bella, a new waitress at a dinner he begins to frequent. He's sort of shy/introverted maybe comes across as grumpy...I believe there's about a 10 year age gap between them. Edward never really says anything, simply going in the dinner to eat and see Bella. He tells himself he too old for her. He's always wanted to have kids but he either can't have any or...As months go by he notices Bella's belly growing (Bella is not pregnant in the beginning of the story). He asks about it. She tells him about a short fling. The father isn't around anymore. The relationship between Bella and the baby daddy isn't focused on in this one. She's all good with it...E/B comes friends. Bella doesn't have a car so she gets around by bus or walking. I think at one point she either asks to borrow Edward's car to get to her OBYGN appt or he takes her.. He gets really into Bella's pregnancy. Taking her to appointments, buying little things, making sure she eats right and rest..Edward start to think of the baby as his...It is a HEA with E/B and baby all together.

Hi,

I'm looking for a story
Bella can't read and works as a cleaninglady in a school/college. Edwards workshop there. The schools secretares is after him and tries to blackmail him. Bella tries to help him by straling something back. She takes care of a younger sibling (or perhaps it was two) there mom leeft them alone for a long time so Bella had to get a job to provide for them. aro helped her get a job. It was all human and Bella's place got broken into at one point. I think tha aro ran Some kind of  dom-sub house and Jane being a mistress.

Dies anybody have An idee whatever this story is called?
