Hi. The story I am looking for was completed several years ago. It has a fourteen year old Bella visiting her father in Forks for the summer. Edward left the Cullens to seek out his mate. Alice meets Bella and realizes what she is to Edward -- though they don't meet for two or three years. Bella speaks to Edward over the phone a few times and I think he sends her Christmas gifts but they don't meet until she is 16 or 17. Bella is his mate and he does eventually join the family (I think around the time she actually moves to Forks). It was maybe 50 chapters? Quite possibly less. I haven't read the story in several years. I asked elsewhere and someone told me the name Evermore sounded familiar but I cannot find any story that matches with that name.

I am also looking for a story that takes place around the late 1930s. I believe Bella is called Marie. She lives with her abusive husband and toddler aged daughter. Edward meets her when she runs into Esme at, I think, a bakery. He winds-up turning her around two or three chapters into the story. It is relatively short, maybe 13 chapters. I believe it is set in Louisiana. I think Edward turns her after her husband nearly kills her beating her. There is an aunt who lives with the husband and the child after Bella goes with the Cullens. Rose and Emmett are in the story but I cannot remember if Jasper and Alice are. Carlisle and Esme are, of course, in the story. In the end Bella kills her ex and they take the child to come live with them.

Do either of these stories ring any bells? I have been driving myself rather nuts searching for them and I am starting to think they are perhaps lost to me. The second one was also complete and is at least a few years old.

Hello friends!

I have another request that I hope you can help me with. It was a story I read some time ago and can no longer find in my favorites (so I have no recollection of the title or author), but in it, Bella was the vampire with the Cullens, and Edward was human - if I recall, he was sick. I believe Bella had been turned in the 1940's.

I'm sorry for the pitiful amount of information, but hopefully it will ring a bell with someone...
