So you need to search the current month as well as the Index when you're looking for a story, especially one that has recently been pulled.

Let me make some other suggestions that might make your life easier. Hi there -

I am searching for a fic that I don't remember the name of. I remember the first chapter vividly (I think):

Edward is waiting on a blind date that his sister Alice set up for him to take to a University function. He is brilliant (with computers) but very awkward. Bella is going to Alice's for a study session and Edward mistakes her for his blind date and practically kidnaps her and makes her go to the function as his date. They go to Ben's house and Edward makes her wear one of Ben's girlfriend's dresses so that she is more presentable. They bicker back and forth and he pleads with her to not embarrass him. She makes up stories about him to make him more interesting, all of his colleagues really like her. He asks her to be his "fake girlfriend" until after he finishes his project so that she will go with him to his functions.

Anyway....does this sound familiar to anyone. i desperately want to read it again but don't remember the name...

Ta Paixao is publishing The Debt and she will pull it the next few months.

So... I have some news, and I need to tap into some creative fandom wisdom.

I'm going to published The Debt. For the past few months I've worked on major revisions: eliminating a couple characters, changing others, tweaking the plot, etc. The heart of the story remains the same, but with a few new twists and turns in Debtward and Punky's story. Plus, a new (hopefully better) ending.

Lately I've fallen behind in updating other stories because I'm workshopping the story with a group of other published authors. We're submitting and reviewing 10,000 words of our work each week, so it's pretty time-consuming. (And I had a brief bout of flu that knocked me out).

So, let me say that I will not pull the fic version until I am done with revisions. That will likely be a few months. If you want to keep a copy of the original, go ahead and download it.

My plan is to seek representation from an agent and try publishing the book with a traditional publisher or small press. If that doesn't happen, I will go the self-publishing route.

And here's where you all come in: I need a new title. I've got a long list running, but so far nothing I've come up with feels right. So I'm begging for your suggestions. PLEASE!

Also, if you read The Debt and wished I'd made a different choice with a certain scene or character, now is the time to speak up. My workshop group is offering great suggestions, but you are my target audience. You are types of readers I wrote this for, so you know best what works and what doesn't. I'm keeping a list of thanks and acknowledgements, and I promise to give the fandom it's due (if a bit covertly ;-)) when this thing goes to print.

I'm looking for a fic a read a few years ago and can't for the life of me remember the name. Bella had a restaurant and hired edward as a chef - I'm sure he was a single dad. Emmet also worked alongside them. I'm sure at the end edward ended up opening his own restaurant/bar?!?! Anyone any ideas! Thank you :)

Hi! I'm looking for two fics.

1. Bella changes her mind and chooses Jacob only to find out he's imprinted on someone (Kira?). Bella leaves Forks brokenhearted, but years later Charlie calls to ask her to come back. Kira was killed in a car accident and Jacob is a mess and no one can reach him...except maybe Bella. She helps, but sleep together after getting drunk one night. Bella flees back to her life until she gets sick and finds out she's pregnant and loses her job. Last I recall reading was that she packed up her apartment and drove back to Forks.

2. Bella finds out she has cancer and pushes the Cullens away. When her cancer becomes terminal, Jacob seeks out the Cullens hoping they can convince her to be turned before it's too late.

It's a short fic. Can't recall author or title. May be a mentalward or black balloon entry. It's a multi-chapter story, but not a long one.
E meets B briefly in foster care at a young age. A man comes and takes her away. (Charlie) E creates B as his imaginary friend that his family allows him to have. Many years later, E sees Bella at high school. He doesn't tell his family until he invites her for dinner. They are shocked that she's real. Bad stuff happens... I believe he kills Mike for touching B. Then a bit later, they hide away and marry. This kills Charlie. E & B go to a mental care facility ... together. Yeah, it's not a warm fuzzy story.
It may be on FF, but I can't seem to find it. Many thanks.

BTW I checked the Black Balloon Contest entries and MentalWard Entries I had nothing came of it some one on FB said it may be a Beyond the Pale Contest entry

I tried searching many key words and I can't for the life of me find this story.
It's a jasper/Bella pairing which I usually don't read but essentially, Bella somehow lives with Peter and Charlotte, I think she is adopted. She is human but has a shield already. She knows about vampires and doesn't want to go to school but they come to an agreement for her to go for a week. Jasper smells her scent and goes crazy trying to get to Bella but she won't let him because of her shield.

I wanted to reread this fic but for the life of me, can't remember the name. It starts off with Bella and Edward living together. bella finds Edward's journal while looking for the remote and takes a trip down memory lane. It alternates between past and present. Bella is obsessed with the weather and wants to become a meteorologist. On their first meeting Edward claims to be able to accurately predict when it;s going ot rain (which he does) thereby angering Bella since official weather reports failed her.

In the present Rose is getting married to Felix, whom she doesn't even like that much, but she's mainly doing it because of her break up with Emmett. Bella is planning the wedding and eventually she realizes, even though Rose kind of scares her, she needs to help her friend realize she's making a mistake. Emmett crashes the wedding and successfully stops it. Bella and Edward end up getting married in the 'stormiest day of the year', making it kind of poetic.

As you can see, I can practically recall the entire story but not the name

The whole gang, Bella, Edward, Alice, Jasper, Rose, Emmett go to a club for an orgy. They initially decide to only engage with each other's partners and not mix it up, but that eventually goes downhill. They all have some kind of a drink to relaz. Then the girls start. The room was kind of fancy, with buttons for making it rain I think. Also, there was an OC, a flamboyant guy (I don't remember if his sexuality was mentioned). He is somehow part of the club, and he watches them though it is only revealed at the end (He has small part). I think he was in another one of the author's stories too (Also a oneshot).
