For Curbed Rebellion, does it at least stop in a somewhat satisfactory place? It doesn't seem to be on FF... so can't tell if its been updated recently or abandoned.

The author stopped writing Twilight fanfiction and now writes Harry Potter fanfiction. So Curbed Rebellion was abandoned.

Does it take a while to get into Fade Away? I think I tried it but couldn't get very far (don't remember exactly why though)

About Fade Away, I dove headfirst into the fic, right away. Maybe because of Edward's snarky little saracastic comments, maybe because of the writing style of Derdriu....idk. Its no 2000 paged saga so it doesn't take much time to come to the crux of the story and end it with a satisfactory smile.

Curbed Rebellion does end in a satisfactory place. You know, in a place where there is no danger lurking, the future of E×B is intact, amd you are assured they're gonna walk in the sunset, holding hands with their nessie.

Haven't heard of this one, but think I read something by that author and liked.

What do you normally like to read? ah? vamp? au? canon pairings?

I am reading Crawl, it is the final of Closer series by TeamBella23, its highly ooc, and a/h but couldn't look away. Just warning though,

Or Emancipation Proclamation by Kharizzmatik (its hardcore long, a bit repetive if you read both POV, but its still awesome and its mafiaward)

I think my previous try didn't get her out of arizona, but so glad I kept reading again past there. I read until late hours of the night, and now am loving the sarcasm, Bella's fiestyness and now at the beginning of their romance.

it was a Edward and Bells story
the plot was something along the line of how they knew each as kids or dated as teens, separated and meet up again as doctors in the ER, all the Cullen boys are doctors at the hospital

I read Kulti a few days ago and I don't care what anyone says for me Sal was Bella and Kulti was Edward, I refuse to acknowledge they are their own characters especially because I read the one shots.

Anyways that got me thinking are there any fics out that have Edward or Bella from other parts of the world?

I have read a lot of fanfic and I don't recall any fic that had a character that was from other part of the world besides the usual.

And by usual I mean brittish, aussie etc...

I read Kulti a few days ago and I don't care what anyone says for me Sal was Bella and Kulti was Edward, I refuse to acknowledge they are their own characters especially because I read the one shots.

Other stories have been set in France, but I don't think Edward and Bella were French. You are probably more likely to get "foreign" Edwards and/or Bellas in a oneshot. Or in another time, like Transcendence. The names of the stories are not coming to mind, but there have been some set in Ancient Rome, or Egypt or some of the royalty fics where Bella comes from Spain or Italy. We may just not really think of these because the stories are still written in English, with the accompanying idioms and from a modern POV, so they don't "feel" particularly foreign once you get past the initial description of the background. I don't know about you, but my attention tends to be focused on the relationships rather than the setting.

Yes! Loved that one... Very interesting Bella, and great fantasy type setup. I've reread it, and I don't do that much at all. (in fact the only ones I have are: wide awake, distractions, in the blink of an eye, and in your world)
