I am currently on an ActorWard binge and have a memory of a story of E&B getting married at Esme's Uncles house, maybe in South Carolina?? The uncles are rich and eccentric?? They call him drawer dropper instead of panty dropper?

Any suggestions?

Also I would be really glad of any good actor ward fic recs, please.

Any suggestions?

Ok, I can't take this anymore. I just can't read another fanfiction about Alice bossing Bella around and her agreeing to do/wear anythings Alice wants, even if it goes against who Bella is in that story.

I don't know if anyone has asked before, but please, please, I'm begging you, can anyone recommend some good complete stories about Bella standing up to Alice, or about Alice being put to her place by anyone, or even evil Alice, so I can really hate her? Like in "First and Last" by miallie.h.

Hey all I'm sorry if this isn't allowed here but I'm sure how this all works. I was wondering why twilight fanfiction on fanfiction.net looks like a dead zone now? I can see on here that people are still interested in reading it. I am curious.

Based on other fandoms, I think there's a natural progression. Activity is highest when there are new additions to the story - more books being published, more movies coming out. Once the activity is over, then the fandom slows down. The Twilight fandom is still more active on ffn than fandoms like Harry Potter, 50 Shades, Hunger Games, True Blood, etc. But, you're right, it's not as active as it used to be.

I am pretty certain Twibrary has an actor section, as does one or more of the other websites that are listed in the first post on every page of the search thread. While you're waiting for ellachanted to come on line with her advice you can check out those links.

Another self-help method would be to put "actor" or "actorward" in the search box, change the search parameters from entire site to this board. We've recced actorward fics before and one of these terms should turn up the prior discussions.

Off the top of my head, I can think of a couple of authors who wrote one or more actorward stories that are in the Index: redtini and quietruby. Nolebucgrl has her Words with Friends stories still on ffn.

I know what you mean though. In the books, Alice is a shopaholic by necessity - they go through clothes like crazy, especially Em and Rose. She tells them what to do because she is a psychic and when they make a decision, she sees the results. She usually tells them to decide something different. They listen to her because it is part of how they stay secret and are able to live the way they do. Some how, when this crosses over to humans Alice becomes a shopaholic, bossy, know-it-all who demands everyone follow her every whim.

It's been almost 10 years. And unfortunately, due to a lot of drama over the years, we've "lost" a lot of good writers. They've gotten frustrated at FFnet pulling their stories. And some have just moved on.

And we still have writers like Drotuno who is writing a story right now. Or this contest - You are not allowed to view links.
