The story info you're referring to above was provided by me. As I stated on the story search post on the twifanfiction blog this story was never completed..It was pulled as a WIP form FFN at 17 chapters..12 chapters still available on Twilighted.

I'm looking for an Edward and Bella fic where they are wolves. The wolves were dying out because no females were being born then Edward happens upon Bella one night in wolf form. He is the head of his tribe. They eventually become mates, get pregnant, loose the baby when Bella gets attacked by a research company intent on studying them. Jasper and Alice become mates when she is taken from her former tribe.

Does anyone know the one-shot that had Edward as a snarky asshole who dismissed Alice's prediction about Bella arriving in Forks and left?  He spends the next 60 or so years taunting the Cullens with hookers and the like at Christmas time as *the one*.  Then he works at a nursing home and meets Bella at (maybe 90)?  She married Mike Newton, had a crappy marriage, lost a baby and had an overall terrible life.  Edward doesn't realize when he chooses her for the Christmas joke that she was the one Alice foresaw (she has a lot of medicine in her system).  She goes home with him (because why not)? She cracks Emmett up when she takes out her teeth, but in the end...she knows they were there before.  And she welcomes death and Edward realizes he was a stupid, stupid vampire because she would have been his happy-ever-after.
