We also learn Jasper is Bella and Charlies great-great uncle. These two things help to create a strong bond between B/J..The Tanya scene also happens in A Life Extraordinary, in chapter 38. Outtake 3 ~ ALE Chapter 38: Reunion Tanya POV, goes into more detail on how Tanya plans to come between E/B and how Bella's gift not only blocks Tanya's thoughts from Edward but also keeps Tanya physically away from E.
