Hi everyone!
I just want to bring to attention the fact that I downloaded Fanfiction downloader a few weeks ago and in the beginning thought it was good.
The problem was that I discovered a few weeks later that this downloader doesn't download the full story only a couple of chapters, even when the fic is complete.
I played around with it a bit thinking I was making a mistake and still the same result.
So I uninstalled it and then downloaded it again thinking that would solve the problem.
Nope! Still the same thing,a chapter or two and then a dramatic cut in the page.
Has anyone else had this problem?
I was quite irritated because I had to go back and download all the stories that I had saved over that time period.All were incomplete

Lucky for me none of the stories had been pulled.
I've now gone back to using Flag.

I thought I'd mention this because I'm sure some of you use this downloader and so I suggest you just check the stuff you save to make sure you don't have the same problem as me as it's frustrating to find fics only partially saved (really annoying!)

I've been using that for quite a while and I've never had anything like you describe happen. Did it happen with everything you tried to download? It is possible you are somehow downloading a corrupted copy of it.

Does anyone have a completed copy of ]Law of Inertia by IvoryAdulation[? My copy only has 31 chapters... was it ever finished, maybe that was all there was? Was Golden Apple of Discord a fanfic before she published it?

Also - does anyone have a list of other stories by therunaway? I don't know when she pulled, but I know she had some WIP's I was reading...

It was a fanfic. Not sure when she pulled it but the introduction inside said it would run 27 chapters and that it was complete. There are 17 chapters here.

Does anyone know who wrote the following stories? I have them but they were saved with no authors, if the story title isn't enough I will happily email them to someone I don't want to upload them just in case they are on the opt-out list.

Out of all of grayviolet's stories, I think the only ones that were complete are M Is For Murder and You Found Me; Cry Wolf was pulled down at 15 chapters.

Let me know how much your copy has and we can see where to go from there.

I personally try to stick with story grabbers or online converters that do not require me having to download some extra software/program, because I happen to like keeping my computer space wide and clean. You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login has given me four problems in the past; therefore, I try to use that FanFiction downloader as a last resort. The one that I would recommend using is You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login, since the words, symbols, and sentences are noted down right to the "T". However, the disadvantages with Story Master are the lack of summaries and (sometimes) long wait for you to receive your FanFiction copies through e-mail. Despite all that, I am able to work around the shortcomings by using that period to save the summaries and banners myself.

P.S. HTML formats are always the best to stick with if you want to be able to copy and paste the stories onto Microsoft Word for the attaching of summaries, banners, along with the adjusting of font, size, and color.

*I also happen to be somewhat OCD, so I am pretty sure you can imagine the craziness that involves all this hard work just to save for reading later on...

I use both on a regular basis. I have never had a problem with the downloaded version of FF downloader pulling the full story. It only really works with FFnet, but it always works. I do have a PC, so I use the Windows version. It first downloads to an html file, you can check so that it is not deleted and see if it is all there. It could be that it is not converting the full story. I always convert to mobi for my Kindle. PDF works well too.

I do sometimes have problems getting a summary - I always get one with flag. I like ffdownloader only because it will automatically take the "copy shortcut" and download directly to my ebooks folder. Flag is more work.

when you want to download all the author has but remember it only takes the current fics if there is alot so you have to go back and do it again.
