I'm losing my mind over here!  It's going on day two of transferring all of my files from the old external hard drive to the new. I needed backup! But until then I can't access my fics  I'm stuck watching the little green line go up very slowly  . What am I supposed to do without  my fics to obsess over, play with, organize, list for KC? I didn't realize it would take so long to move 500 GB of stuff!!!!

I usually start it at night before I go to bed and let it run. Sometimes it it better to copy a little at a time rather than all at once. Don't know why, but it works.

I feel your pain .  I used to back up hard drives for a lab and a little at a time is definitely quicker for some reason.  Unfortunately, you have to sit and stare at the progress bar the whole time.  I usually try to copy/paste as many small files/folders as I can before leaving a big folder to copy overnight.

i think im going mad. the other day i swear i saw a fic listed here where E&B are abducted and have to live out a madman's fantasies. am i insane or blind?

Edward lives on the hill with his two younger siblings (younger girl and boy (Jasper?)) and they are shunned by the community – can’t go to the school/or Edward wont let them? They bath in big tubs on the hill. Bella changes this and brings them into the school – Carlisle hates it and tries to forbid her from seeing Edward. Alice (Carlisle’s daughter) helps her to meet with him... she falls for Jasper. Edward’s involved in a group that is doing something illegal? They screw him over.

Edward works a lot as a lawyer and hasn’t seen his family in years. His brothers Emmett and Jasper convince him to have drinks with them and their fiancés Rose and Alice. Bella shows up and she gets to talking with Ed. Edward drives her home and goes to sleep and dreams/wakes up in another reality where he has been with Bella for 4 years. Just as he’s gets the hang of his new life, falls in love with her and is about to propose he wakes up in the “real world” where Bella has only met him once. He goes into a rage and hurts himself. He ends up in hospital and tells Bella about his dream – he knows everything about her. Jasper and Alice kind of believe him. Bella is engaged to Jake, but Edward tries to get her to be with him. On her wedding day she leaves Jake to be with Edward.

 thanks for the information. i read somewhere that it takes some time until you are accepted, maybe somebody already has it in epub/mobi/pdf... but please keep me posted.

I'm using Windows 7 with FF downloader version 0.5.1.  I had a few problems on this computer when I first tried it.  I uninstalled it & redownloaded it a couple times and it now works fine.  I have a different version on my other Windows 7 computer that works perfectly.  But it didn't work on this one.  So who knows. 

Computers can be so frustrating!!!!     

Computers can be so temperamental I suppose I could try to download it again but I think I'll just use Flag for the moment.
