So all these things are happening with STP & writers leaving fanfic and I stupidly leave home for the week without my mifi device. $:-\$

Fortunately, the hotel has free Internet.

Sigh, so over 5 pages to download. And no tired emoticon

Also, sometimes I would like to add an LOL! to a post rather than a Thank-you! But Thank-you is the only option. So that's what you get

Yeah, you're missing some serious drama if you're on FB. The one day I decide to actually be an active participant of FB... lol

Really, more of the leaving is people being kicked off FFn for summaries that aren't K-rated and stories that aren't M-rated (as they define "M"). :\

This is what started all the drama today. Not sure who started it but FFN made good on its TOS.
Found this on one of my FB groups.

ATTENTION TO ALL AUTHORS ON FFN: They have changed their ‘guidelines’ on story summaries and everyone must comply to K rated summaries because every story is visible to anyone 13 and over. To stop your stories being pulled/reported, please amend your summary and exclude any offensive words etc…

From ff.net :

General rules:

Entry title and summary must be rated K for all audience. No exceptions.

Entry must be given the proper rating. No exceptions.

Entry must be placed in proper category. No exceptions.

Chapters of the same story are not allowed to be submitted as separate entries. All chapters/segments must be grouped together using the ‘edit/upload chapter’ feature in the left menu.

Failure to comply with site rules will result in the removal of stories and/or suspension of account.

Please feel free to copy this post and share it in groups and on your walls to protect our wonderful authors, big and small.

I saw that, too. But what's funny is that those guidelines aren't new. They're just cleaning house and enforcing the TOS. Can I fault them for it? Not really. Do I like it? Not one bit.

Yeah, I noticed that too when on Twitter someone told me they updated their TOS. I went and looked it was last updated in March of 2009. There is a certain story that I refuse to name that has drawn attention to their site and they have decided to clean house. I also won't discount that FFN had some help on what stories to hit.

Hi..I'm looking for twelve years later i dont remember the author but the story was about the cullens finding bella in the forest they keep her and rasie her for a while then the find iut her real parents are looking for her and the give her back 12 years later she sees them again when she moves to forks....

So, the usual FFn drama lol!

The worst of it? yeah, my phone says 4G's but I tried to download to my phone & it just freezes. I always try to download as soon as I see stuff because you never know when the author will want it pulled.

So stressful lol!

And my fanfiction downloader has suddenly started downloading only the summary. So I spent an hour downloading stuff off FFn, only to find I downloaded diddly squat. Yeah, that's been my day.

I'm looking for a historical fic., I read a long, long time ago. It starts off with Bella and Jasper are together he goes off to war comes back a few years later. Bella has a child from him, but now she's married to Edward and irish doctor. Sound familiar to anyone? Thank for your help.

Did she write more? I always download an author's stories when there are more than two chapters (unless they're outtakes), and I never downloaded that one from her. I have Masks (and outtakes), Reboot, and Bittersweet. Unless that one fell through the cracks for me, but I don't think there would be a reason that I would miss a drabble war story because the updates drive me crazy (lol)...please tell me it just slipped through the cracks for me...

I don't believe she ever wrote it. I had it on Alert for that Drabble War and never got notice of any updates. My copy of chapter one dates back to 3/16/12

Is it Walking Away by Jayeliwood? They had known each other for so long and loved each other for such a short amount of time when he left for the war. What would be waiting for him when he returned? Based on the total number of Twilight stories your number sounds correct. Last time I looked it was over 200K now it's just over 198K.
