School just got out - of course they have too much time on their hands.  I poked around on their forum yesterday and in one post they say if you aren't 13 to lie about your age to open an account.

Are they actually encouraging 13 year olds to read M rated FF's?  Because their rules state they must actually read the chapter they review.  I haven't read any of the reviews but some authors who have received them have said the read as if they were written my 6th graders.

If that's the case. Total hypocrites A crusade of apparent rule enforcers who encourage rule breaking.

(P.S. @Rosalyyn not sure about all of them but the ones I know of made mention that their stories were not removed by them.)

My information is different.

What I do know about this group is.... they're magnificent liars. Teens make them 'sound' harmless right?

But.... don't be fooled.

Pretending to be someone they are not is par for the course. Why would they admit to being grown men?

If teens are involved a) they shouldn't be reading 'M' stuff, right?

And even if it was true, these young boys would be guided by the larger organization that heads up these very organized efforts.

Technically, most of the stories did violate the TOS. (Doesn't mean I agree with the censorship and removal...notice would've been a nice thing.)

It really is ridiculous that they are doing this...again. They really should have notified prior to removal.

I like FFn's ease of use especially for favorites but this crap with removal is disheartening. I also don't get why they seem to single out the Twilight community. What happened to the "MA" rating they used to have. I remember when I first started reading Fanfiction they used to have it. Would it be so hard to add it back and allow authors to put up an over 18 terms page like TWCS. I think it would save everyone some unneeded (and unjust) stress.

I know a lot of you have searched me out there but I temporarily pulled my stories off of there until I finish revamping and begin reposting. For those that still don't understand why I'm leaving, FF guidelines do not allow erotica and a group of people have taken it upon themselves to report authors who post that here and therefore those authors are having their stories pulled.

I rather remove myself since it's only a matter of time and take my work to where it will not be censored due to the irrational sensibilities of prudes : p

Look at Walmart (hate to use this example), but you won't find Fifty Shades of Gray there. Know what you will find? A very wide selection of pistols, guns, and ammo!

Walmart just pulled 50 Shades in the last couple of days.  At least here they did.   One of the Customer Service Managers suggested I buy it to replace the book I returned (got 2 for a present)  and said I could have bought that one but they had pulled them off the shelves.
