Yes, It's the completed stories I saved prior to this awful mess. I've only been a member of FFn since July of 2010. I was tired of stories being pulling when I was just starting to read them, so I started saving.

The other folder called Twilight Fanfiction is what I've found online from various sites, including here.

Does anyone know of a story where Bella, Rose, and Alice are on a cruise, along with Edward, Emmett and Jasper (though they don't know each other at first, I think). But then the cruise ship sinks, and they end up on a deserted island where they discover Tyler, Lauren, Mike, Jessica (and maybe some other characters), whose ship shipwrecked exactly a year earlier. As time goes on, tensions build, and either Tyler/Mike wanted Bella, and they were willing to do some very dangerous things out of jealousy, so out of necessity, Edward killed Tyler/Mike. Everybody ended up saved by Carlisle in a helicopter later on.

I've been trying to find this fic (can't remember its name either) forever, since I read this story a few years ago, but haven't been successful so far. If anyone knows its name or has it, please tell me! I'd be really grateful!

I accidentally saved over my prior copy of Dine and Dash by Katherine-Alexis-Tyler-'K.A.T with the reduced and edited version she's left on ffn. Does anyone have a copy of the story before she reduced and edited? TIA

Katherine-Alexis-Tyler-'K.A.T posted a copy of Dine and Dash on her blog yesterday. It has links inside for where to find her and where she is going to post and continue the story.

I started with a folder of links and then started an account. Like you half of my links became dead. I was devastated!

Now my motto is save it or lose it.

Ellachanted how did you get FF downloader to work, when I open a document that I've downloaded from them the first three pages are all html code and it's frustrating so I don't use it. I must be doing something wrong?

I contemplated doing this, but I just try to be conscientious about updates and not overwriting something already saved (like with MissAlex reposting Frontline yesterday; I changed the file name to include "original"). I haven't heard of my method not working, but I'm sure it happens with the number I save each day (I've saved 63 already today, and numbers have been down since the Great Pull of 2012)...

An old version did that for me, but it was quickly fixed with an update. Are you using the latest version? I think it's 0.6.2...
