That's why I'm not doing the conversion. Just midnight June 8th - midnight June 10th in my time zone.

You figure for the authors and readers over in OZ it will be over since it's 2:00am Monday there.

And you'll survive. We all will. It's tempting to go over.

But just think Domward would be proud of our self control. LOL!

If you say 10th June 23.59 PDT than that would be 8.59am mine time on 11th June.So I'll stay logged off till tomorrow 9am mine time.

Yeah, I agree on that. I think it was supposed to be all Saturday and Sunday that the ban was supposed to be. They confused the times themselves. Technically they have it beginning Thursday night (meaning right when Friday starts) in their post. I think they meant to have it June 8th 1159pm - Sunday June 10th 1159pm, making it 48 hours. That way people could have come home from work, downloaded what they wanted to read that weekend, then logged off. They way they posted it makes it 72 hours since it begins on Thursday night.

I took it to mean that they wanted to be signed off during FFn high traffic times which would be Saturday and Sunday when most people are home. I'm doing it for the 72 hours logging off on Thursday because the less traffic they have during peak time the better.

I have so many stories saved that 72 hours is nothing. There is going to be something on my hard drive that I can read without having to go there. I get my social interaction here. It was much harder doing the no buying books ban in March. A month was difficult but a weekend is nothing.

I will log back out. I've got stuff to read. And I've got to control my hoarder tendencies to download everything. Complete E/B should be enough, since I don't like reading abandoned WIP's. Sigh....so hard so hard. I could be on a computer version

No, just Twilight. A few non-twilight may be slipped in but I don't think many did. I keep other fandoms in different folders but I mostly just read Twilight fic's right now.

One of the great things about ebook formats is the small file size. Depending on what format you save in also helps. ePubs are usually the smallest, next mobi, and PDF's are the largest. Documents without pictures are even smaller. So you really don't need a lot of space for them.

I just checked the folder size of the doc's that I've downloaded with fanfiction downloader it's 3.03GB of space. The actual count of that folder is 10,335 files. So you really don't need a lot of space for files.

You could get a 20GB flash drive for a low price, be able to save tons of stories and still have room to grow. Heck, you could even take the flash drive with you where ever you went.

I have gotten VERY attached to my flash drive!

I just got a 32 GB SD micro drive that I have big plans for - all fanfiction lol! And it was only around $25 on Amazon.
