Thanks Scarlettraven. I feel so dang stupid I got a bug bite a few weeks ago, on the back of my thigh well I scratched the crap out of it and ended up with cellulitis (didn't know at the time) in the mean time my allergies have been driving me crazy with watery eyes and after scratching my bite I rubbed my eye and now I have cellulitis in my eye, that if not taken care of asap can lead to meningitis?  ick.

I have Excel 2010, I am still looking for the find/replace guess I need to look at the dreaded "help"  - the older version of Excel were a lot easier.

The Find feature can be used in tons of programs!  Just hold down the Ctrl button on your keyboard and press "F."  If you're in a Microsoft program, a window will usually pop open where you can type what word/phrase you want to find/replace.  You can also use Ctrl+F in web browsers, adobe reader, etc. to locate something on a page.  Just check at the top or bottom of the program window and you should see a "Find" box appear.  I use this feature all the time when I'm trying to find my place in a story I've been reading.   I'd include screencaps, but I can't figure out how to add pictures.

Note:  It doesn't work well on scanned pdfs/pages because the words are really just images that can't be read by the program.

You can with convertfiles.com now. They expanded a lot with this last update. 

Actually you can convert with convertfiles or calibre into a txt document. Still works!

That sounds much faster than copy and pasting everything.

I love her fic's however I have issues when Edward is married to someone else......*shrugs* E & B belong together.

Does anybody remember a story where Edward who is way older than Bella meets her at his concert.  Edward is in a band with Jasper and Emmett.  Bella and Edward instantly fall in love. Rosalie is married to Emmett but wants Edward.  I can't remember the name or the author.

I just do this in my head as I'm reading.  Oddly enough, I find myself doing it for books that were not previously fanfiction as well.  I think I have a serious obsession.

Does anyone know if I can find Hotel Midnight and it's sequel, Motel Cabbage by CuttlefishRock anywhere? Or does anyone have it?
It used to be on ff.net, but it was pulled, and I'm dying to read it again.  It used to be one of my favorite stories.

Gosh, am really glad i found this site. Finally, to be able to read/ask/discuss/t56828 with other people who are into fanfic, is such a joy! Am really not the only one into this thing yehey! Am quite new to fanfic and I have to thank fifty shades for that. When I found out it was first MOTU, I just had to find the outtakes in Christian's/Edward's point of view. Then i stumbled upon this thread and tried to look at the various recs. I was super glad to see so many fanfics that shows EPOV.

The very first true fanfic I read was just last month. It was edward wallbanger. Followed that with strings, the office and the man who cant be moved which i all loved for its smut  I like those stories where edward is richer and can take care of bella. Preferably actorward, ceoward, athleteward.

Still drumming up interest to read profward. Very curious to read EP and The univ of EM but am deterred by the length of these ones!

Ellaenchanted and scarletraven, thank you so much for the various posts you made. Very helpful for me to decide which books to get. Pls do let me know your other faves that are humorous yet sexy. Again, i really liked office and TMWCBmoved.

Since ive been reading nonstop fanfic and started to get bored with the few last ones i read (pride and prof, permanently etched) decided to read a harlequin last night to rewire my brain a bit from too much E/B.  I plan to start a new fanfic tonight. Any suggestions?

What's it about?  I've never heard of it.

It's Jasper/Bella, Bella's POV. Carlisle owns a restaurant or something like that and Bella is hired to work there. Rosalie, Emmett, Edward, Alice and Jasper work there, but they're all really weird. Each one of them has been through a lot, Alice keeps having these nightmares for example, and Jasper once says that there's an only one person there beside him who hasn't attempted suicide.
Jasper is an insomniac and Rosalie's brother. He keeps coming up with new nicknames for Bella (I can't really remember those), he's the chef and he once tells Bella to get something from the frigorifico (fridge).
Bella thinks that Jasper is an enigma.
They once play a game, and they end up being really drunk, I think.
The sequel is Hotel Midnight from Jasper's POV, at least that's what the summary says, but it's not really that. We actually get to see a little into Jasper and Bella's relationship. Jasper gets a tattoo in one of the chapters. That's all I can remember. I don't think the sequel was completed.
