- rape and cheating are hard limits for me too. I was reading the first few chapters and i thought it would be a good one bec it started with E and B in a bar and it seemed they were pretending not to know each other. But you get some clues like their "matching wedding bands" etc. i thought they were married to each other and just having a break from their RL doing role play. Was sadly disappointed E was with Tanya and Bella was with James.

- am curious to read the perfect wife after all the comments but if its too angsty and rape is involved... Well i can download and see when i'll get around to reading it

I really, really, really would not recommend The Perfect Wife for you. Most things do not squeak me at all and this was a tough read for me. I had to skip over so much just to get through it and I can pretty much read anything. It's not just rape but incest also and it's disturbingly graphic. This is a very dark story and I stress the very.


Many stories will give you a disclaimer stressing the dark nature of the story. This one does also but I think it should have given the readers knowledge of the violent incestuous acts that happen in it. If you have any love for Charlie or Carlisle DO NOT READ THIS STORY! They are not the characters you have come to know and love. They are EVIL to their very cores. This goes way beyond a rape fic., way WAY beyond. It's disturbing and unsettling.

Also? It has RPattz in it.  I'm not normally a big fan of real people in fanfiction, but he is so funny.  It is an E/B with an HEA, so no Bella/RPattz.

I've tried to read this a few times. I don't know if I wasn't in the right frame of mind or if RPattz is just a block for me. I don't read real people fiction. I want my fantasy to be just that without real people making a cameo. It destroys the illusion for me.

I have a hard time reading her stories, every story E is a liar and cheater. Even in a new vamp one. Although she has an amazing writing style that I love, If she were using original characters I would eat her stories up, but since she's using E/B I can't do it they are so nonredeemable in her stories so much deception, *sigh* I think my freak is showing again

Yeah, I finally took her off author alert.  I can't take her non-HEAs anymore.

I think her stories are when fiction meets reality. She has been hurt deeply by someone she trusted and in turn it's reflected in her stories. I like the realism of her stories though, especially since life isn't a HEA.

It would have been with the T's because of the "The". Again the laziness of me not going through the "The" fic's and putting them in there proper place.
