I am looking for a story I read once before.  Darcy marries Lizzie.  A feverish Darcy accuses Lizzie of having an affair and draining the coffers of Pemberley.  He is horrendous to her calling her a whore, etc.  In the meantime, Lizzie is struggling to help Pemberley's tenants survive after a tragedy.

She finally leaves Pemberley and Darcy has marriage either annulled or they divorce.  Then Darcy discovers he was all wrong and she wasn't having an affair nor draining Pemberley's coffers, except to help his tenants.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?  Need title and/or author or PDF.  Thanks

I wonder if someone might know the title of this book that my hubby read some time ago and would like to read again. I am not sure where to post this either. It’s Science Fiction, war, military and here is a brief synopsis:-sentient Starship buried by an ancient race in the core of a planet. It is uncovered in a mining accident on an asteroid.

Hi Guys, at the end of her story "Seven Nights," completed in 2020, Pattyrose mentions that her next story would be called "THE MANNY," and it was coming soon. I have been playing catch-up, so this may be common knowledge, but I have not been able to find this on her profile, in the PTS Index, or any mention of it in Google search. Does anyone know if she actually wrote this story, and if so, was it completed? Did she ever actually post it? I have sent a PM to ask her, but with the current issues at FF.net and no emails, alerts or PMs going through, I doubt she has received it. Thanks in advance for any info!

I just stumbled across "The Manny" by Pattyrose included in the Babies at the Border Fanficion Compilation dated Oct 20, 2018.  It is 4 chapters long.


Summary: Edward Cullen, culinary student & part-time sous chef, needs a new job or a new career before his lusty landlady and his crappy apartment drive him out of New York City. When he stumbles on an ad seeking a live-in nanny for a five-year-old boy, it sounds like a straightforward opportunity with no downside – until he meets his charge’s young, divorced mom.
