hi i use my ipad 2 get my email But everytime I go on it keeps saying this cannot get mail the mail sever"imap.gmail.com" is not responding verify that you have entered the correct account info in eail settings as i have done this ten times not and still no luck and its not going on the internet too

pls help me

Sound like there maybe a problem linking your iPad to your Wireless Router. Have you tried turning your router off for a minute then turning it back on again? Or resetting it?

If its the 3G version, try checking whether you can connect to the server through 3G. This ofcourse would work if you have turned the Cellular Services (under "General") "On" and selected the appropriate service provider.

Ummm have you gone to settings to make sure your wifi is turned on? My cat walks on my laptop keyboard and turns off my wifi frequently and at first it drove me nuts trying to figure out why my Internet wasn't working. Could you have turned off the wifi to save the battery from draining?

You can go to the Apple website and talk online to one of their Apple experts. I've done that before and it was really helpful because they were able to walk me through the set-up and tell me what I might be doing wrong. (Or in my case tell me that I needed to bring it in to the store to be checked.)
