I was just reading a little about Discovery of Witches and man is that a long book or what? I'm kind of intimidated to start it because of the fact that I may be reading that series until well into 2015. LOLI haven't even heard of Loner and How To Save a Life... I sure do like HS fics though! I guess I should add these two my TBR list?
I'm watching The Rover and my favorite part is definitely Rob singing Don't Hate Me Cause I'm Beautiful! Lol❤️ Just thought I'd share. Lol
Rob sings in the Rover? I may have to watch that.
Nahh... It's perfect! I'm a sucker though for a big book It goes by quickly! It's not super tiny print or anything.
Loner was one of my first. In some ways (minus the BDSM) I found it very similar to MOTU. The back story is similar. Both were rescued by Carlisle as kids. But Loner is high school. If you like Wide Awake, you will probably like it too. The other good angsty HS one I liked was Hit by Destiny. I read them all around the same time.Hit by Destiny. You are not allowed to view links. Register or LoginLoner. You are not allowed to view links. Register or LoginHow to save a Life is a bit different. Edward was very popular. The football star. Then his girlfriend Tanya died and he fell apart. Bella then comes to Forks and because she wasn't there and didn't know Tanya, she is able to help Edward. I don't want to say much more or it will spoil it. How to save a life has been pulled but the PDF is in the index. It is by unholy.obsession. it is also in my Calibre library
I'm a sucker for a big book IFFFFF it's a good one! LOL When it's a good book I don't ever want it to end. I started reading A Discovery of Witches and the first chapter has me interested! Those all sound good! I'll check them out...
Just have to share a little...the hubs just bought a 5 day package to Vegas for my upcoming b/day. I am so excited I can barely sit still. I get to see 4 shows, a formal dinner before each show and all with limo service!!! I leave Friday!!!I just looooooove Vegas...can't wait. Y'all have a good week.
I'm on the last Discovery of the trilogy, I have to say that this is a pretty good series well worth the read. I second the above reccs, classics, all of them.
Didn't know that either. I have a copy, just have not had time to view. I'm definitely gonna find time now.Just have to share a little...the hubs just bought a 5 day package to Vegas for my upcoming b/day. I am so excited I can barely sit still. By the way Loopy or ffg - Under the space beside Tags for posting - Separate each tag - separate is misspelled. Someone typed seperate and it should be separate. Not that I'm being nitpicky or anything. I had to look at it a second time to make sure my eyes weren't playing tricks on me. I have a sinus headache and thought at first it was the headache.
The only one that I can think of off hand would be: The Vampire in the Basement By: michellephants. It is complete and on ffn.
Do you keep all your books/FF on your reading devices? I have an external hard drive that is keeping my stories safe, and lately my Kindle has been working over time adding the bazillion stories I have been loading on there every day I think that I should remove them from my Kindle once their read... I *REALLY* need to find a filing system or some way to organize all these stories I have. I'm getting a little frazzled having them in too many places!
We have this discussion periodically and I think the answer always comes back to Calibre in some shape form or fashion, plus cloud storage and backups, etc.
I downloaded Calibre, but for some reason I just can't figure out how to get it to work for me the way I want it to. I'm not even sure what I want it to do! *ahhahaha..
Love the picture. I has the dumb a lot. There is no way I can have all my books on my Kindle. Now my Samsung tablet? I could put them all on the SD card, but the all have to be epub or PDF because it doesn't recognize mobi. So my mobis have to be converted or sent through the Kindle app. But the Kindle app won't save to the SD card. So I run into problems because my tablet only has 16gb memory. So yeah, I have to remove stuff regularly. I actually remove stuff I thought I wanted to read, but realized they were not great stories first. Then stuff I will never reread. It is hard to track it all though. I normally track it in Calibre.
*hahaha... I swear my kids sprained my brain this past week. It was a rough one! That's what I was thinking... I need to play more with Calibre. My OCD gets the best of me and I board the crazy train and try to organize! I surrender!
