It's is pretty good; outside the box enough to make it feel fresh, I'd recommend it but I'd recommend Pattyrose's more.....Thanks for the break down but Beyond doesn't sound like one for me.....are you finding worth reading?
Aww, how sweet of you - same right back ya hun. I freakin' love FM - I saw them last September when they were on their UK leg of their European tour. I almost had an "O" when Stevie was AHS: Coven and she actually sung on it as well. I was always the odd one out in my family as everyone else's fave album of their was the obvious one Rumours (I love this album as well) but mine was always Tusk. Aww, sorry you're not feeling too good. Sending you a big squishy "Get Well" hug. You can't beat a bit of KA when feeling ill. I loved Knight and Creed but for me Knight had the edge over Creed (just slightly though). Good Luck hun with The Geheime Vernietiging, that's one fic I've not got around to yet as I don't wanna start it and not be able to like it as not being able to flounce would suck big time being stuck to read something that long.
Ok, good to know! I'll start with that one Some day... *ahaha.. I swear my TBR list goes on forever Hmmm... I'm not sure yet. I'm about 10% into the story and so far nothing has really happened. Bella is working with Carlisle at his hospital, and he knows she "knows" what he is. Edward and Bella have met, and he has a girlfriend that might be in love with Bella's new friend. I guess its leading somewhere, but still getting to the story meat
Been sick since friday with a bum stomach so wanted to read something to make me feel better. Glad i picked kristen ashley's Knight and Creed to keep me company and take away my misery. Loved the story of Sylvie and Creed. Such badasses! 5 stars! Now, wish me luck. Am about to start the 3,600 page The Geheime Vernietiging by amoredjenaue. Sticking with the action/suspense genre i've been on.
See, now a vampire FBI agent story would be really cool. I really am liking this new show called Forever. The main character can be killed but he comes back to life fairly quickly after. So not really a vamp but some kind of immortal. It's good so far. He works for the NYC medical examiners office.
Me too!!! I really like this show! Are you caught up in the episodes? I still need to watch last weeks epi, curious to know who the "other" is!
LOL! I've been watching it, but I missed the first episode. So I'm not sure what this other is. His brother maybe? Didn't something happen when he tried to cure his brother of typhoid? Or was it tuberculosis? One of those diseases that can now be cured.
I loved her Buckingham Nicks album from just before they joined FM. You can find it on YouTube. I actually like the first FM with B/N more than Rumours or Tusk. Christie McVie has some great songs on it. And, well, Rhiannon and Landslide.
Sorry you're not feeling well. Let me know how you like it. I started it but didn't get passed the first chapter. I really like that type of book, but it is hard to read it where Edward isn't a vamp and can actually get killed or hurt. See, now a vampire FBI agent story would be really cool. *ahahaha... The "Other" is the guy who is watching him. Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.
I actually own every album FM has released right back to when they were known as Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac and every single album that Stevie's released including Buckingham Nicks, that's my usual Sunday listening, much to everyone else's dismay. [emoji1]
I was given a usb stick with a bunch of books on it, some are You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login by Savannah Russe - Vampire working for the government. In reading the reviews of that on goodreads, someone mentioned theYou are not allowed to view links. Register or Login by Jennifer Rardin - Vampire works for the CIA. Don't know anything about either of them, except what it says on goodreads.
I think it's more schmexy, simply because it's more grown up (and better written [emoji39]). I've gotten to the part where its explained why there's been no nookie so far, but I'm with Diana on this...WTF?!
So I finished The Tutor... I've had it on my TBR list forever since it's one of the consistently recommend fics out there. I think with these things though it all depends on when you read it as to how you end up feeling about it. I thought it fell flat, but I think I've just read too many good fics previously and it just couldn't compare to some of my favorites. The "Young Bad Boy Award" in my book is still held by Dusty, Wide Awake and aPoF (am I forgetting any?) and I think it will take a long time for those to ever be dethroned.
I only heard of them when my brother, who plays piano, started playing Come a Little Bit Closer so he could learn it. So just the songs with good piano. We didn't have all the albums. But we taped a lot off the radio. My brother was really good at catching the songs just right.
Wow, he's got to be brilliant at piano to be able to play that and others.I got into FM as there was only me and 2 of my older brothers (my 2 other brother were 27 & 30) who lived at home and by time I was born they were 9 and 15 and both my parents were late 30's/early 40's so they were already part of their record collection (which I've "stolen" over the years ).I used to tape the Top 40 off the radio every Sunday (there was nothing else to do where I lived), it took loads of practice to get it just right but by time I was 8 I was a master at it.
I remember it was good, but not necessarily one of my favorite. But I read it after Loner, Tropic of Virgo and How to Save a Life - all much better HS fics to me.
I was just reading a little about Discovery of Witches and man is that a long book or what? I'm kind of intimidated to start it because of the fact that I may be reading that series until well into 2015. LOL
