How I miss this site!!!! How I miss the girls! Loopy, FicFanGirl, Demaris, Ella hiya!!!!!!! Life is actually kind of great, I spend three months in France working mostly, but it was a really rewarding experience. Back to Athems now, still waitressing and studying. I delayed my degree for a year to go to France... : Anyhow, I was clearing up my files today, and found my FF collection (over 10000 pdfs...) and thought to come by and say hello. I have completly abandoned fanfiction and turned to books, and now I find almost everything bad-written. Anything new that's worth it?
I could never get myself to use siri when I had an iPhone. I'm just not the talkitive type I guess... And I find it annoying to hear everyone else's conversations every where I go.... I swear people don't realize we hear everyword of their conversation. Yet if you respond to what they say, they look at you like you're the weird one. No, I'm just walking around talking to the invisible people surrounding me... LOL! Sorry, early morning rant.

Many don't realize how much louder their voices are while talking on the phone. I try not to mind it when out on public. But if it is during a meeting, conference, lecture, or worst, the movies, pls get the fck out of the room and take your call there. My other pet peeve are those who don't use earphones when using their device. Kids playing too loud video games, grown ass ladies watching a self help guru on you tube, pretentious business men watching the news. People, we know you own an ipad/galaxy/tablet. So please stop showing it off or trying to look"smart" by inflicting on us your program choice. If you could afford a tablet, you should be able to afford earphones. Do us a favor and use one. And to you in the elevator with your too loud music that we can hear what you're listening to through your earphones, can you lower the volume? I much prefer the elevator music than your choice of music. End of rant
Nice to see you back. We talk about a lot of books on here, but well-written? That is a rare art, both in published books and fanfiction. I think all the self-published books are polluting the pool.

Matron - I've heard the scruff look is for the new movie. We'll find out soon enough when the movie starts shooting the end of October in Toronto.

Demaris - never say I never think of you. I went over to Robsessed and tried to find the summary of Idol's Eye and failed miserably. All I could find was that it takes place in Chicago in the 1970's with a gang of thieves. The hair and stache fit the time period. That's all I can tell you. I did posts for September and October. It'll probably turn out to be in August but too late. I give up. I did find the summary of Childhood of a Leader but that wasn't what I wanted - at least right now.

Oh dear..yeah that's me..same with my iPhone, which I never leave home without, my music is always up so loud I'm surprised I've not be run over by a car as there is no way I can hear it coming....I blame it on not clubbing any more, I re-create the experience any way I can. Lol, I'm exactly the same while walking the dogs and goats I was nearly ran over by a tractor the other day cos I couldn't hear it but I still blamed the driver for nearly flattening me.
