You don't have to read both you can just read Deliver and be done....That's the compromise I've instigated between me and my non-flounce gene. If the sequel is not a continuation of the same main protagonists and their story then I don't have to continue to read...had I come to this compromise before I wouldn't have had to suffer through all those f-ing Rock Chicks!

So agree with ya hun,  dude #1 with the beard is hotter than dude #2 as that beard is just  , so couldn't be with a guy who had a beard like that as I've cleaned way too many beards in my life time of being a carer. 

I can't find Paradise or Whitney My Love to purchase for Kindle...   Am I totally missing them on Amazon?

I've heard a LOT of good things about Shanna.  I'll have to give it a try.  If Ruark is awesome enough I can get past Shanna being an idiot! ;-)
I can't wait to hear what you think of V&V! I have had it on my TBR list forever.   I think its one of the most liked fics out there.
I had Guns N Roses and Bon Jovi I think!  I always wonder how close we are all in age...   I was in high school in the late 80s.
Did you ever see the gif description someone put together about The Bronze Horseman?  It cracked me up because it was so right on.

No, I really didn't like Shanna, I read it on either Ella or Booked rec but I just couldn't bear her...maybe if I'd read her before I got to Judith McNaught's Whitney she might have faired better.....

I was in primary (grade?) school in the late 80s which is when I had posters on my wall, we weren't allowed to 'deface' walls at boarding school which is where I did my secondary (High) school education.

I remember that gif for TBH, I laughed my head off and you're right, it is spot on!

OK, I have to ask. Am I the only one that just doesn't get the whole...'let's post a picture of what I think the character in the book looks like' on Goodreads? I mean, just now I went to read a review of a book I'm interested in and the picture of the hero someone posted had man-boobs!!! The model might have been trying to pass them off as pecs but trust me, they were MAN-BOOBS  I don't mind when a reviewer posts a gif  to express emotion ( most of those are amusing) but I'm just not feeling the rest....

I'm with you.  I have a picture in my head of the characters and they rarely match to other readers pictures. So it is annoying to see other's pics. Especially if I find them ugly.

And I realize everyone's taste is different.

Yes Love Rescue Me is V&V from Edward's POV, and Lullabies & Eternal Love is the sequel.

Shanna is a spoiled brat. At least to start. Kind of reminds me of Scarlett O'Hara. Though she does improve once she finally admits should loves Ruark.  There is no instant love in this story.

It's worth reading both as they do vary a bit so it's not all repetition. [emoji57]

Yeah, they are old. Not sure they are available. At least not yet.

IMO it is worth it to read both. In EPOV you get to find out what he was thinking and things that went on when they are apart. I matched up the chapters and read both at the same time.
