Need help with another book. My memory is surely falling me  :D :D

I remember H lives across h's friend. h and her friends get together and watch him workout, and such. H likes h, and he knows they are watching. h is shy, and I think he catches her watching and makes her come to his apartment. I remember she was surprised it wasn't a typical bachelor pad.I can't remember much else. I think one of h's friend hooks up with one of H's brothers.

Thanks!

I remembered! It is Enjoying The Show (Wicked Warrens #1) by Marie Harte.

Thanks a lot! I can't wait. Maybe I should also check other genres beside time travel.

I've read the threads I follow, and nothing rings a bell there. But I am quite certain I read about it, someone wrote spoilers and a review, or something like that, I'll keep looking and see if I can find it.

I'm looking for a book. I read it maybe 2 or 3 years ago.  The h is in New York on business. She gets a cab from the airport (I think) and asks the cabbie to take her to a BDSM club (or that's just where she winds up)  The cabbie drops her off at a club and she goes in and gets drink and sits back to enjoy. The H owns the club & when he sees her he realizes that she isn't the normal club goer. He goes to her table and they wind up having smex there, with a computerized screen that can be brought up for privacy.  This is all that I remember about it, and would like to read it again.  Any ideas?

Hi I was hoping someone could help me figure out the title of this book and the author, I didn't actually read it and so it might be a long shot. But it was a historical fiction (not a romance) set during the revolutionary war. I saw it at Borders probably two years ago on one of the main tables, like for new releases and popular books. On the cover there was a man and I know there was an American flag.

I'm attaching a cover to a different book that totally reminded me of it. I've been searching all over for it on the internet and I can't seem to find it.

Thank you so much for your help! :)

Hey, Hudasee, do you know why I have a 'Delete Thank you' button on this?

Hey Windflower, have you miraculously remember the title of the book? Got some free-time some days ago, i'm checking on new lists.

There's only one man in the cover, is that what you are inferring? Oh and I would like to ask, what's the color of the book, is it sort of like the one you posted as a sample all dark or all bluish?

Need to know, might get some hits on it.

PS. How can you be so sure it is not romance? I'm just asking... I'm getting no hits at the moment.

FOUND SOMETHING Is it Sworn Sword: A Novel
by James Aitcheson?

You can check it on Barnes & Noble, there's a lone man riding a horse carrying a flag.

I looked at the Sworn Sword... Not it :( It might have some romance in it but it wasn't like solely a historical romance, there are a lot posted on here and it's not really by genre so I wouldn't have picked it up. I believe there's only one man on the cover, by himself. The cover I believe was bluish/dark like the one I attached. I seriously have spent like 10 hours looking for this dang book... I'm sorry I don't really have more information.

Oh, hey, I know this might sound repetitive (and you said you can't remember anymore) but by all means I'll try, do you noticed something about the title, it is one word two words? Is there a "the" in there? How about the author's name, its start with what letter?

Hope you could answer those questions, it would help with the search, I'm still revisiting some lists. Maybe I'd miss something.

Thanks so much for looking. I don't remember anything else unfortunately. I feel like the title was more than one word but I don't know. I know this what not a lot to go on. Thanks for searching, but no biggie if you don't come up with anything, I know it was a long shot. :)

Okay. The book I had forgotten is about a doctor (female) who was struck by lightning but ended up in a different world. In this world women were scarce and that the person who saved her was actually the prince to the throne. This prince is the eldest of three (triplets). They are connected in a way they can read each others mind and when they go to sleep they would be able to have the memories of one another. This is basically a paranormal romance menage in which the girl is actually the mate of three brothers. She each get to spend a time for each a brother. She was also able to save one of the triplets who got injured due to the mission (the three brothers) were investigating. Because she saved him she was given more praise. In their world, males are usually born as triplets and when one of the triplets die, the two who survived will get a tattoo which happened to the kings. Later it was revealed to the heroine that she was actually sent to that world by the Goddess of the Moon in order to save that world. The people in that world could actually shape shift into dragons but lose the ability and was forgotten.

Basically, that's what I remembered of the book. Thanks in advance. I just really can't remember the book title...

Does anyone know the name of this Harlequin Presents book?
« Reply #113 on: August 13, 2013, 12:42 AM »
Hi,

I'm looking for a HP book I once read and am hoping someone can help me put a name to it:

-h comes looking to H for help
-apparently she ran out on him, but has gotten herself into trouble and needs financial help
-she works at some bar/casino and ran up debt now the loan shark is threatening her (hence why she came for help)
-later find out she ran out on H because while he was away she was attacked by men and it made her terrified of men

Kind of vague I'm afraid, but it's all I remember...

Here's another one

I think the name of the hero is Decker or Declan. Anyway, the story is about vampires and shape shifting dragons. Basically heroine is the daughter of the vampire queen and the hero is the son of the king of the dragons. The hero's parents were killed (but it was later revealed in the series that they are alive and were kept hidden in some mysterious island --- the task was given to the hero's sister accompanied by her love interest). Anyway, it was revealed that hero has actually vampire blood in him because his mother was bitten by a vampire but his father saved the mother by turning her into a dragon. The queen vampire was later on killed by a former lover (who abused the princess when she was younger). The antagonist basically wanted her blood I think in order to obtain her power which later presumably killed her. The hero and heroine were basically kind of connected in which they were able to each other's memories. The hero was able to save the heroine by turning her into a dragon. In the end they were able to kill the antagonist.

I know this is a stand alone but it has another book related to this story which tells the story of the brother of the vampire queen.

Thanks!

Thank you very much. I knew the author's initial was M.H.
I also knew that her name was either Megan or Meagan. I just couldn't remember her last name.
I kept on typing Megan Hart but it wasn't that.

Update: Thanks to angelfire07 who found out the book is actually the same, just rewritten and republished by the same author using a different name. It was Selena Kitt - Truth or Dare, published back in 2009.

Thanks so much angelfire07!!  :-* :-* :-*

Hello, I'm looking for some help in remembering a title and author for a past read book... I'm going close to crazy trying to find it!  :(

Believe it or not the memory of it was actually triggered when I read the blurb for buried secrets by emme rollins. As it sounded VERY similar to what I'm now asking for help to find.

All I can remember is...

The girl has decided to return home and begin working in a bar just after she learns of her twin brothers death, that if I'm recalling right happened in a cemetery. I think her twin brother might have died from cancer or aids; he might have taken his own life after finding out he was sick.

At the bar she runs into her brothers best friend who is the local bad boy always getting into trouble. When they all were younger, her brother actually humiliated her in front of this boy, as he didn't like that they were getting along. It turned out her twin brother was actually in love with his best friend who didn't return that love as she was in love or lust with the girl.

Some how these 2 are now working together to solve why her brother died, though she knows he has some information on what happened that night, as he was supposedly one of the last people to see or hear from her twin before he died.

I remember a scene in his bedroom that might deal with money on a bed, while they are making out followed by a gun in her hand aimed at him? Not very clear on that.

Another scene with them and a bunch of people by a lake listening to music while drinking he's showing off another girl, but when she shows up all his attention is on her. Again I'm not very clear on it.

I believe I read this sometime between 2009-2011, pretty sure it was a new release at the time. With it being a while back I'm not surprised I'm struggling to remember this but since it popped back into my mind I'm going absolutely crazy trying to remember! So please if anyone has any ideas on what it could be I'd greatly appreciate the help!

Could it be The Marriage Surrender by Michelle Reid?

Joanna adored Alessandro Bonetti, but knew she could never give him what he really needed. So she walked out on their marriage.

Now, two years on, she has no choice but to turn to Sandro for help. He agrees, on one condition: that she return to his bed, as his wife.

Joanna realizes she loves her husband more than ever, but a replay of their disastrous wedding night is more than she can bear. Surrender to Sandro means he'll discover the secret she's kept hidden from him all along but maybe that's a risk she must take if she's to save her marriage.
