I need help locating a book

The heroine is getting married to a guy everyone sees as perfect (and perfect for her).
They get married, and the husband cheats during the wedding reception with his secretary IIRC, the bride founds them and she announces it to everybody and goes away with his brother (might be stepbrother). Brother (H) and h go away on vacation, and I think, at one point, her family and the husband go there and try to convince the h to leave the brother and forgive the husband. The h is trying to get a divorce/annulment.
Found it. It's Private Party by Jami Alden

Thanks in advance!!

Hi,
i need help finding two books.  :) It's a book series.

Book 1:

It's a love story between a writer and a famous actor.

In the beginning the h is married, 2 kids (older daughter, younger son) and unhappy. Secretly she's writing a book starring her crush, an actor. Then her husband cheats on her and leaves her and she gets a book deal. She moves away, writes more books, gets famous...
Then her publishing company gets the offer that her first book being made in a movie and she shall write the screenplay. The actor that plays the mail role is actually her old crush (his first name is Edward - and no, it's not a fanfic! ;)). He only accepts the role if she writes a book together with him. She agrees and they meet and are instantly attracted to each other...

Several plot points I remember:
- her younger son burns himself with water because the babysitter is drinking and sleeping with her boyfriend instead of watching the kids and they try to cook pasta...
- they have trouble with the paps constantly
- they get one stalker girl that actually trys to kill the writer with a homemade bomb because she wants the actor for herself

Second book:

The publishing company from the first book buys a internet publishing company. One of the editors gets the most promising author...
Later he realizes that that author is also the former owbner of the internet company... She is very shy, he thinks she's ugly and now he has to build her into a star. He brings her to the writer from the first book for a makeover and is stunned because she actually looks great,  but she is still very shy and inexperienced and hates every promotion/book reading/singing he sets up. She's not as cooperative as he wants her to be. During a travel he finds a kind of bucket list of things she wants to do and they make a deal: he helps her to do all the things of her list and she cooperates with the promotion stuff. Then he finds another, more romantic, bucket list and helps her to experience those too.  ;) Somewhere down the road he realizes that he's fallen in love with the ugly duckling...

plots:
- she is so repressed/inexperienced/shy, because her family always favored her sister
- later she learns that she is the daughter of an affair and that's why her "mother" hates her
- the editor helps her to find her real mother
- she has a very traumatic experience with the paps

Some ideas?

Hi. If i'm not mistaken, the first book you described sounds a lot like A Humble Heart by R.L. Mathewson.

I don't remember the name of the H/h but I remembered that the heroine had half brothers who were twins named Jaden and Caden I think. Anyway, she had a relationship with a guy who was one of the best friends of her brothers. I know she has another sibling I just can't remember who. The father is a mayor I think and she moved in with the family when her mother died (I think). I remember that she thought her new family hated her especially her stepmother but in truth the stepmother told her that she actually saved the family when it seemed that it was falling apart. I  think she got pregnant but something happened and the relationship with the guy was at a breaking point but in the end they still ended up together.

I know this book is a series and the second book I think involves one of her brothers who actually liked the same girl. One brother likes to paint and the other is an athlete. I know this is also a new adult.

Thanks!

The book is a contemporary romance, set on a Indian reservation.  The hero is a lawyer (he is Native American) and the heroine is a landscaper (?) or architect, anyway she is goes to the reservation to survey some land around a lake because her company wants to build a resort there (maybe).  In the beginning of the book, the heroine is out in the woods (don't remember why) and the hero and his brothers come riding by and scare her.  The guys were in the woods helping their sister with a school project (it might have been a photography project). Obviously the two fall in love and everything works out great.  LOL  I think there are two books in the series, but I could be wrong.

Any ideas what the name of this book is called?

Thanks!

Hi,
I'm looking for a historical romance. I believe that the H was a duke/marquis. I don't remember the H & h names but I remember that the h had two best friends, one I believe was a blonde called Penelope(?) and one was a gypsy.
The H & h met when the h and her friends were doing some demonstration  on I think the poor working conditions of some mines and the h jumped into H's carriage. H forced h to marry him because h had apparently been ruined  in the midst of the commotion(her gown got torn) of getting into the carriage. The H thought that the h had done it deliberately. Penelope, the blonde pal, fainted upon meeting the H and I believe she got married to the footman/butler who caught her up when she fainted. The gypsy girl, I believe stabbed/killed her stalker.
I think the H was into science & inventions. The h does get pregnant in the course of the book. She also tries to improve the conditions of the H's coal mines ( reason for their demonstrations) and I believe there was a small boy from one of the improvished families that the h got attached to. The dad/stepdad of the small boy was nasty.
I also think that there was a checkered (yellow&black?) cloak that kept being referenced. I also think that the H had earlier been betrayed by a woman hence his bitterness towards the h at the beginning of the book.
The details are a little hazy but I hope this helps.
Please help. I read this book in either early 2000 or 2005.

Thanks.

I accidentally deleted a trilogy that I was planning to read this week :(

I think the books deals with war, the hero and heroine are New Adult/YA and the books are a trilogy with a novella in between. The third book is not about the couple in the first or second book but a couple that we have met earlier. I think the books are written by a male author. In the second book the hero and heroine are forced to work together by a teacher. Sorry if I am not clear I read a couple of reviews and that is what I remember from them.

It sounds like this? Just Remember to Breathe (Thompson Sisters #2) by Charles Sheehan-Miles

Charles Sheehan-Miles – Just Remember To Breathe

Alex Thompson's life is following the script. A pre-law student at Columbia University, she's focused on her grades, her life and her future. The last thing she needs is to reconnect with the boy who broke her heart.

Dylan Paris comes home from Afghanistan severely injured and knows that the one thing he cannot do is drag Alex into the mess he's made of his life.

When Dylan and Alex are assigned to the same work study program and are forced to work side by side, they have to make new ground rules to keep from killing each other.

The only problem is, they keep breaking the rules.

The first rule is to never, ever talk about how they fell in love.

Hi
I read a write up of this book - hmm years ago.
Set in the Highlander era.

Its about a woman whose husband died. But she had a hard time with him. I cant remember if they never had sex or if he abused her.
The king then arranges her to marry a man who is - almost like he is a not friendly to people. But I think he was a leader of a clan?
But they both find love. She gives him the softness and kindness and he loves her fiercely.

I know its fuzzy, but thats all I have. I hope you all can help me please?
Thank you!

Hello! The title of the book that I forgot is actually a story from wattpad about werewolf romance. I thought I saved it in my bookmark page but apparently I did not.

From what I remember, the start of the story a little girl (was bleeding and was assumed to be bitten by a werewolf) was found in the woods and was brought to the alpha. The alpha then discovered that the little girl was his mate but it was too late since he is already married and has a son. He let the girl stayed within the pack but made sure to never be within near distance to the girl. Few years have passed and the girl grew up. The alpha's son came back after he graduated college. The dad actually planned for the son to come back when the girl finished high school and attends a university far from their place. Basically, if the dad rejects his mate, it would passed down to his son. So the son is also a mate for the girl. The son's alpha met her and knew exactly that she's his mate. There is another shifter who thinks he's in love with her but in truth the reason why she's attracted to the girl is because (they found out later in the story), they are both twins. The girl is a descendant of a very strong bloodline more of the royalty kind. I remembered that both H/h were able to mate which made the father miserable but he planned to kill his own son. The wife of the alpha later learned the truth that the girl was his true mate and runs off later in the forest. The wife was captured by a rogue but turned out to be her true mate. Although they mated, the rogue planned to kill the alpha and the rest in order for him to become an alpha since he's request to lead the rogues and have their own land was denied.

That's all I remember. Please help. I really want to read the updates on this book. Thanks!

The second one: I am pretty sure it was published by Ellora's Cave. h is some kind of scientist or researcher. She overhears H and a friend talking about her lack of sex appeal. She decides to take the pills she is making (which were to increase your desires). And that's all I remember. I think it might be one of those menage stories. I am pretty sure h had a crush on H, but slept with both men. The men were scientists as well.

Thanks!

Im pretty sure this one is called Vitamin P by Nichelle Gregory
