Could it be Pamela Clare's Extreme Exposure?? It's book 1 in the I-Team series. I read it a while back, but IIRC it kind of fits your description

It's been years since her child's father dumped her, and since then Kara McMillan has kept men at bay - although every day she aches more for a lover's touch. But to get that, the hard-boiled journalist must become vulnerable - a feeling she vowed never to have again.

With his dangerous good looks, charm, and power, Senator Reece Sheridan could have just about any woman he sets his piercing eyes on. But he's intrigued by only one. This Kara, this gutsy investigative reporter, has a sensuality that arouses him to no end. If she's a firebrand in print, he guesses, she must be just as fiery in bed...

But this is no fling. A sudden political scandal - and attempts on Kara's life - could very well drive them apart. Or maybe, just maybe, adversity could draw them into a bond even more intense than their steamy sexual embraces.

Yes! That's it! Thank you! I've been going crazy looking through my archive for this. I need a better filing system.  :)

Hi, I am looking for a romance novel about a man who is a widower with two kids. He has a sister who is always setting him up on blind dates in hopes that he moves on in his life. On his birthday his sister gives him a gift of a paid cooking class for a week but he reluctant to go. He eventually goes and there he comes face to face with a women he once went to a blind date with. The date was a disaster and he left a terrible first impression as she looked like and reminded him of his dead wife. The women was the teacher in the cooking class. She doesn't recognize him at first as at the time of the date the man was sporting a mustache though she tries to place him from having met him somewhere. She eventually recognizes him and is quite surprised to see him. Once he realizes that he was wrong and she was nothing like his wife he apologizes and tries to make up to her by asking her out. She is apprehensive at first but eventually agrees. The story then shows how the two of them have several dates including one that is a breakfast date and the lead heroine takes the hero out shopping for fresh vegetables at the crack of dawn.

Also, it maybe a Silhouette Romance novel but i am not sure about that.
And its not a recent release.

This is all i remember. I don't remember how it ends.
Please help.

I think I read this one, I am trying to remember but cannot. I think the h had an ex bf who was annoying her, and I remember one scene they were having breakfast in bed in her apartment. I thought it was a book by Sharon Sala, but it's not. I am racking my brain and coming up with nothing  :(

Hey guys,I`ve been trying all week in vain to remember the title of these two books and I hope you can help me.
The first one is more of a YA book. The heroine`s mother just died and her father moves them to their beach house(I think it was her mother's childhood home or something like that). She also has a younger sister who goes through a rebellious phase. The house nedded repairs so her dad hires their next door neighbor, who happens to be the son of her mom's best friend(who i think was in a coma or had a mental disease and he was taking care of her)
I think there was something like "storm" or "lighting" or something similar in the title.

The second book was actually part of a series and it was a combination of suspense and romance. It took place in Miami, and all the guys were working at the same security company and before they were in the Army or the Marines. The H and h had a relationship but then she dissapeared because she was placed in the witness protection program. He thout she was dead and after a couple of years she came back to him, because she was in danger9i think she had a stalker or the guys she sent to prison escaped).
Anyway,I would be grateful if you could help me with these books.Thank you!!

Hi! I hope someone can tell me the title of this book. I remember very little. Its a military romance book. I think it is harlequin romance. What I remember from the story is that the woman is in a beach with friends when suddenly the shore is surrounded by SEALs. I think they were training or something. Anyway, that is where they met. I cant remember anything else.

I hope someone can help!  :)

So my computer crashed and I've lost all my books. I'm having trouble remembering one of the series. Its about vampires and special people who when share blood with vampires they become immortal. They all have dark hair and eyes. I believe the leader of the group is named Seth who in the series sounds like he is an fallen angel but no one know it. A couple books in they rescue a woman from a secret government site and they found out she is an alien and they protect her. In one of the books there is a character names Bastien who lead vampires because he thought he was one. If anyone can help it is appreciated!

Hi all.
Posting this here as I think you guys are in the best position to help me.
I hope I did not ask this same question before at Aunt Aoi's thread..please let me know if I have!

Ok I read this book years ago, maybe ten years or more? I cannot recall much details except that its an illustrated fantasy book.
There was this old couple who lived in the forest and was unable to bear any. I think a witch or spirit agreed to help them and gave them a feather amulet to hang over the empty cradle. The catch was that they had to return the child later.
The couple of course came to love the girl alot and did not want to return her so when they realised she had wings on her back, they removed her wings ( i think)and bound her back.

I saw this posted on Amazon and it sounded really interesting does anyone know what book this is

"I found an ebook that I forgot the name of...its a story of a werewolf who broke up with a woman who he got pregnant (he didn't know she was pregnant-I think it was like a one night fling).

The pregnant woman became homeless, and out of not having anywhere else to go, she sought out the father of her unborn child and came to the family of her child's father. I don't think she knew they were shifters. It seemed to be such a good premise, but, I cannot think of the title to purchase the book. Can anyone help?"

thanks :-*

I need help with the name and author of a series. I know it's a Harlequin series and it features 3 brothers, who aren't very friendly with each other at the beginning. I think it might be by a new author.

The 1st book: The h was a pop star (or some kind of star, I know she was a singer). The H hired her to open his store. I remember the h had a troubled past (possibly drugs involved). And she was known only by her name (like Cher, Madonna, Beyonce) and the name was kind of "exotic". She was trying to change her musical style, and the H thought badly of her because of the tabloids and such. His brothers think he is crazy to use this woman as the face of the store. I think he inherited the store from his dad, and the store is very traditional.

The 2nd book: I don't remember much. Just that the h and H met on an island and that the h is a widow, and she lost a child.

The 3rd book: It's the eldest brother, everybody thinks he is cold and uncaring. The h is the sister of h from book 2. They had a one-night stand, and she gets pregnant. They have a MOC I think. I think both H and h had bad reputations.

Thanks!!! Any help will be appreciated.

SOLVED: It's The Bryants series by Kate Hewitt.

Hi, read this book a good while ago and just cannot remember the name. So any help would be great.

A mountain man hears a plane crash in really bad weather, he finds the pilot dead, a man and a woman handcuffed.  I know he thinks that the woman is the prisoner but finds out later that she is actually FBI (or some other agencies but am pretty sure it is FBI).  He wants her and keeps her so he takes her to his lair in the mountain which is underground.  When she wakes up she has amnesia.  A search team arrives and the mountain man is strong armed into helping the search for her, which he does while misdirecting them.  He warns them that the mountain is dangerous, they don't believe him and some of them die.  The mountain man is not quite human and something guards the mountain that is not quite human either.

Any ideas?

I don't know where to ask this type of question but I figured the here would be okay. If it isn't, let me know and I will move it.

Anyways, I am looking for a book I read a long time ago. I only remember one part but it has been driving me crazy for years!  :-\  :-\  :-\

PLEASE HELP!

I remember that is a historical romance, maybe highlander (?). The only scene I remember is that the h did something to piss the H off. He chained he leg to the dining room table and embarrassed her in front of his Mother and Mistress or sister, not sure which (?). They both hate her and were taunting her. There may have been a dog underneath the table that was drooling on her. I believe the h was married to the H and they were enemies. Marriage to help their clans. The H was a pretty mean man.

I know that isn't a lot to go on but I can't remember a thing else. Any help would be awesome.

THANKS, Kels  :-*

Jamie MacGivern is not like other men. He is a Lycant, a genetically engineered super human with wolf-like abilities and killer instincts. A loner, he makes his home high in the rugged Pion's Mountains where the locals from the closest village stay out of his way.

When the plane carrying Federal Agent Allison Groves and the prisoner she was transporting crashed in the mountains near Jamie's hunting ground, she was the only survivor. Waking up in a strange underground cabin, she has no idea who she is or the identity of the handsome man lying beside her. When he tells her he is her husband, she has no choice but to believe him.

Having rescued the beautiful woman he now considers his own, Jamie will do everything in his power to keep her. Those who get in his way might not live to regret it!

I need help with a series. I don't remember much about them.

Book 1: H is a former p*rn star, and he moves to a small town. He is kind of ashamed of his past. The h might have been a teacher. I remember there was some trouble when the town's people found out about his p*rn past.

Book 2: H and h are neighbours. H is friends with H from previous book. This H is still somewhat active in his p*rn career. At first, H and h hate each other. h is part of an orchestra, I think she may have played the chello.

I tried searching and Googling but only came up with books written by p*rn stars, or books about escorts lol.

Thanks in advance!

Found: It's the Dirty Deeds series by Jodie Becker. Thanks Parvati!!
