I've been looking for this book for so long with no success I'm starting to believe I may have made this up lol

The book starts with a one night stand. They met in a bar, had their night then went their separate ways until she turns up at his door pregnant. Somehow she ends up living with him as friends. He's a total player and still "dates" through the entire book until the end when they confess their love and live HEA.

That's really all I remember as I read this book a few years ago I think. Does this plot ring a bell to anyone or have I actually made this up??

Hi guys :) I'm looking for sci-fi adult romance book:

- the hero is alien and learn english by watching TV (Law&Order)
- the heroine has some issues so she won't leave her house for long (at the beginnig of the story she leaves to post-office) and she has everything delivered to her house
- H gets to her house through window (it's in room where h leaves stuff from her ex-boyfriend)
- H cleans her house from everything dangerous (hiding knives and sharp things etc.) before he meets her
- H goes into some kind of heat or mating frenzy because of hot weather

Found it  :cheer: it's Heat by R. Lee Smith

Hi,

I've been going crazy trying to figure out the name of a paranormal romance series I started reading couple of years back. The books were on my external hard disk which sadly died on me. Here's what I remember, there are these bunch of hot guys who live on a farm (maybe) they were all brought back after they died to battle evil vampire like beings. I remember they had a healer who was female and she had the hots for one of the guys (their story was unwritten when I read these). In the first book the heroine's sister's fiance' (or husband) is killed by the leader of the evil party and he drinks from the sister and does something to her mind and later the hero makes a deal which would lose him his soul to save the heroine's sis. Well, anyway the most significant thing I can remember is that when the hero bites the heroine she gets a tattoo in the bitten place (maybe a star, can't remember). They also have a powerful guide (and for some reason I keep thinking his name is Acheron but I checked out the synopsis of that book and it's not the right series) who makes the hero and heroine dream about each other even before they've met. So that's the first book. The others are all a jumbled mess in my mind, I know there's one which takes place on an island where the Heroine is a psychic scientist in charge of some young psychic adults. Here a 19 year old is bitten by some snake like thing and uses her fire powers against them but since she's bitten she keeps being tortured with nightmares and her potential mate makes a trade for her. There are also twin boys who are healers. In another book the heroine is a ghost hunter I think. I know the details are vague but I'd really like to figure out which series this is and if any new books are out. Thanks to anyone who can shed some light on it.

I need help with a series. I don't remember much about them.

Book 1: H is a former p*rn star, and he moves to a small town. He is kind of ashamed of his past. The h might have been a teacher. I remember there was some trouble when the town's people found out about his p*rn past.

Book 2: H and h are neighbours. H is friends with H from previous book. This H is still somewhat active in his p*rn career. At first, H and h hate each other. h is part of an orchestra, I think she may have played the chello.

I tried searching and Googling but only came up with books written by p*rn stars, or books about escorts lol.

Thanks in advance!

I've read (or rather skimmed) book 2 that's why I know that one. After a bit of some recalling and researching, here are the titles of what you're looking for:

Book 1: Dirty Deeds
Book 2: Dirty Interlude

The books were written by Jodie Becker and they form the Dirty Deeds series.

I am looking for the following book:

The H has a dating service / website. h is a lawyer (might be a prosecutor). They meet IRL and the H also looks her up online. She is torn between H and her online love (also H, but she doesn't know). A newspaper writes an expose on his dating service, and h learns he is both H and the online guy. She breaks up with him. Shortly after, his nephew gets in trouble with the law, and the h is the one trying the case. I think she recused herself and got the nephew a deal. I remember H had a big family, and his sister was in the middle of a nasty divorce (hence the nephew acting out). h has a BFF I think.

Thanks in advance!!

I remembered more details. h is a family court judge. She has a rocky relationship with her father, and has a younger brother. This h had a health scare in the past (might be cancer) so she decides to make the most of her life, and that's why she signs up for online dating.

Hello, I want to ask if anyone remembered the tittle of this book. I guess it has historical romance genre on it since the setting is in a castle, perhaps. I vaguely remembered the details or maybe my memories of this book got trampled with other thoughts. But I think it's a pretty popular (classic?) books.

It tells about a guy who wake up in a castle and suddenly became the owner of the castle. He didn't remember inheriting a castle but the servants just continued serving him and making him the new lord castle (I think he also didn't remember living in that era). Then he met a woman ghost who has lived in that castle long ago. Somehow the two of them worked together to unravel the woman ghost's past life (and maybe there's something about solving her death). Oh, and they ended up fall in love with each other in the process too I think!

Does it sound familiar?  8)
Thank you before!^^

Hi all,
I've been looking for this forever n hope u can help.
I read it more than 5yrs ago, It's historical romance, set in England ( I think earlies like b4 16th century) don't remember the hero/heroine names but he seeks hospitality at this castle he opens the door n the girl standing by the fire place her dress catches  on fire he puts it out n when he sees how beautiful she is wants her. Asks her dad to marry her, the father gets him drunk n marryes him to the oldest sister instead ( cause he's superstitious n thinks they have to marry in order of oldest), when he wakes up he asks her if the slept together n she says yes ( her mom died when she was young n she's ignorant thinking sleeping next to each other is what he means). He takes her away to his home hating his marriage,
Anyway later on he loves her but the middle sister visits decides she wants him n tries to push her sister over a cliff, the middle sister dies and I'm sure there is a second book about the youngest sister. I remember the hero is afraid of thunder. That's all I remember

Oh....I really hope you can help me with this cos this book has been in my mind even after 20+ years.  I can only remember the hero's name which is Slade.  The storyline is somewhat like this.....The hero came about the heroine somewhere where she was swimming in nude and singing a bawdy song.  And the story develop into whereby the heroine fell in love with Slade but his heart was with someone else.  When he was betrayed by this other woman, he wanted to get back to the heroine but had to grovel to show that he really wants to be in her life and of course the heroine does not make it easy for him.  It is a historical western romance.  Hope you will be able to help me with the title/author.  Thanks you in advance.

Is this it?

Lord of the Isles  (Isles/Templars #2) By Amanda Scott
When formidable twin brothers set out to build an empire for their clan, they consider every detail except one - the power of love to upset even the best laid plans.

Lady Cristina MacLeod, eldest daughter of a Highland chieftain, is in a dire situation. Her superstitious father insists that she marry before her sisters, and he has forced her into a scheme: to trick Hector "the ferocious" MacLean into taking her for this wife.

Yet Cristina wonders about the true reason, she obeys. It is because of duty to her father? Or her secret attraction to Hector? In matters of war, he is as fear-some as the battle-axe that hardly ever leaves his side. But to women, his face is temptation itself and his charm weaves a powerful spell. Now facing the wrath of her new husband, Cristina refuses to bow to it, fuelling his anger, stoking his passion.

When an old enemy resurfaces and a new threat emerges, Hector realizes he could very well lose his "wrong bride"... and vows to fight for her with all his warrior heart.

If this is the book you are looking for it is the 2nd in the series.  This is the book order:
1. Highland Princess
2. Lord of the Isles
3.  Prince of Danger
4. Lady's Choice
5. Knight's Treasure
6.  King of Storms

I think these books are also connected to the Border Trilogy...it's been a while since I read them though.

Hi guys!! Hope you can help me with my little prob ^-^. I can't remember the title of this particular book that i've downloaded last year. The plot is like, there's this hip-hop star who rented a vacation house by the beach, and the girl's like a real state's employee, the girl kinda ended up in the bathroom and the guy caught her and scared her by saying he'll call the cops coz he thinks she's a stalker, but she doesn't know who he is. Well... That's all the "clue" i've got coz i've read like the first chapter and I kinda forgot about the title.. Hope someone's read that book.. thanks!! :-*

Need help I don't have a lot of info but I am looking for a book where the hero tells the heroine they are mated, but turns out he lied because during the end she is taunted by another female I belive and blurts out that they have mated a lot thinking that having sex is mating. She discovers the H lied to her and goes off at the end to be trained for battle I believe. I don't know what kind of paranormal they are but it is either wolf or fae. I want to say the book came out more than a year but less then three years ago. This is a series because the book ends with her leaving I think to another relm.

The Werewolf Prince and I (The Moretti Werewolf #1)

Broke, nerdy, and self-confessed wimp Misty Wall leads a ho-hum life as a Grammar Nazi intern, which of course earns her feelings of hate-at-first-sight from her colleagues at Ze Morgue, a.ka. Moretti Inc.'s Administration Department.

Misty has always wished for something exciting to spice up her boring-with-a-capital-B existence, but she never thought it would come in the form of a gorgeous six-foot-plus billionaire. The world knows him as Domenico Moretti, the ruthless, cunning, and aloof CEO of Moretti, Inc, a.k.a. her boss.

Gifts of (mis)fortune come in threes, they say, and it’s certainly the case with Misty, whose life is turned upside-down by Domenico Moretti’s three shocking revelations.

One, he’s a werewolf (who’s also a prince).

Two, he wants her in his bed – him, the guy who actually had to file a TRO against an obsessive supermodel.

And three, he has a proposition she never – and she means never – ever sees coming.

I'm looking for a book can't remember the name
think it about the female demon slayer workin for some kind of organisation. Her immediate boss (kind of like her handler) is missin. She is also sleeping with him. She askes the halfbrother of her lover who is also half demon to helper find him. She then proceed to sleep with him to. The half brother is some kind of incubus,  most memorable part about him is that he can morph his p€nis into a double p€nis, I only read a few chapters.  I think it was released late 2012.
Basically what I remember about the synopsis goes like this
Demon slayer (her name) discovers that her boss has been abducted or is missing, she has to rely on the help of his half demon half brother, she isn't sure whether to trust him or not, but is a race to find her boss before it is too late.

I've been searching for a book a long time. Don't know when it was released. It's about a woman, i believe that she was a nurse. And he is in the mob, if i remember it correctly. He sees her and likes her right away. She has some problems, her parents are dead and she has to take care of her brother. But he goes with the wrong crowd and she believes that he will be killed or get into prison if he continues, or something like that. He takes care of that problem for her. I also believe that there was something with another guy who likes her, but she can't stand him. And in the end they end up together. Hope that something rings a bell with somebody!

Hi,
I'm looking for a Historical Romance. I haven't read the book, but I read the excerpt of it that was at the end of the previous book in the series. (so its defo not a stand alone or 1st book of a series).
What I remember is: The heroine is living in the country with a false name (Miss...something). The hero is her husband and he is a lord. They have been married for years but I think she ran away from him for some reason and has been in hiding. In the scene the heroine was going to a meeting/tea with another lady in the village and her husband is there. All through the meeting she is worrying that he will reveal her true identity to the lady. But he doesn't. Then we see the hero leaving the lady's house with one of his friends/brother (He came with his friend or brother. I cant remember which) I remember the friend flirted with his wife and outside the house the hero telling him not to flirt with his wife again. The hero is going to bring his wife back or win her over. Something about living like/ pretending to be a bachelor when he was actually married... I think they had to get married for convenient reason that I don't remember now.
I'm not sure if the book is out now but I think it is. Or if anyone could even remember if they have read such an excerpt???
I don't remember anything about the other book it was in dammit!

I've been looking for the author and its been driving me crazy!

Thanks!!! :-*

I've read this book before I think it was just last year.
I remember H paid h to be his mistress. h is a student and due to financial problems she entered this type of  relationship and h is a virgin.  And H wouldn't spend the night with h after their encounters. I think H is a widower. And the epilogue - H and h are now married and they have a daughter and H and the daughter are waiting for h at the airport.
