And one more book that maybe you know and I remember even less about. The only thing I remember that heroin (ex military) fell in love with heroine listening to her music (she was a singer) when he was injured and then later she came to him as a client. This one I believe is from well know author and also from some kind of series.

Thanks  :)

Hi,

I'm pretty sure it's Lisa Marie Rice - Hotter than Wildfire - Protectors 2

One of my favourite authors :))

Sorry to everyone! I've been kind of busy for a while, but I have quite a bit of spare time this weekend. The next couple of days I'm going have a big search for the books you are all looking for. ;)

Hudasee, thank you!  I think they did have sex, but it wasn't steamy.  Oddly enough, I remember thinking that it was odd that the author would write a book with that theme.  I also remember a book by Sue Monk Kidd nearby on the shelf - it may have been The Mermaid Chair or The Secret Life of Bees (her titles are wonderful).  However, this is no help because it was not either of these books or that author, although it does sort of pinpoint a beginning spot in time.  Now, if I could only remember the author!  One thing that struck me about the book was that neither character seemed to have high expectations of happiness, just possibly not to be as lonely.  They were making a serious effort to build emotional bridges with each other.  They were both single but had not always been alone.

I wish I could put a genre to this - it would be easier to search.  If you look up gay relationships, you get erotica.  :(

Hey, Hudasee, do you know why I have a 'Delete Thank you' button on this?

I think you can delete the Thank You you received for that post. As far as I know you can do that for Thank You's received by you but you can't delete given Thank You's.

Hi! I hope you could help me here. I only remembered the synopsis of the book since I haven't read it yet.

The books is a time travel romance wherein the heroine I think is in her mid 30's or in her early 40's. She had just a divorce from her husband. She wanted another chance in life. I think she acquired something from a shop (not sure about this part) then she travels back into the past in Scotland (I think). She ends up in a young lady's body who is the wife of the hero who is a laird (all I know is that he is the leader of his clan). Though the real personality of the owner of the body has a rather cold personality but it changes due to her. Well that's all I remember.

This definitely rings a bell, did the H's wife (real wife, not h) was a cheater and kind of bad person??? The whole clan hated her, she was mean and did nasty things to the H. And when the h ends up in her body, she cannot understand what's going on at first.

Hi,

I'm hoping someone can help. I don't remember anything about this book except the opening scene. I just started reading it and then my ereader blew up. Figures. Anyway, I downloaded this book with the last year or so it's fairly recent.

The heroine is temping as a secretary for the CEO. She is a college/grad student and really needs the money. She was initially supposed to work in another department but everyone was out sick with the flu. The CEO comes in and asks her what she's doing there. She's intimidated but stands up for herself. The CEO wants to get rid of her but she does stellar work. He's amazed at the amount of work she's accomplished and that she has figured out the vagaries of the messaging system. He reads the email from HR about his new temp. He surprises her by coming out of his office to greet his appointment. And that's as far as I got.

I think the heroine's name is Sydney but am not a 100% sure and I think the hero's is something like Dominic. Oddly enough, the only one I remember for sure is that the hero's original secretary was named Nancy.

TIA!

EDIT: FOUND! Apparently, I was reading a preview. It's Elizabeth Lennox - The Billionaire's Pregnant Lover. Thanks for looking!

I cant remember the title or authors of these two books I read this year.

The first one started out with the husband planning to have an affair then almost has a car accident during snow storm and comes home to his wife and they have sex. He realizes what an ass he has been because his wife has difficulty having an orgasm he gave up trying years ago. They later go out to a hotel together and she gets herself all dolled up like she hasn't in years and best sex ever for them. There is a scene near end where they are at hotel bar and bartender is hitting on her and husband is acting jealous then thinks I am the one who almost had an affair not her.

The second one is an older couple with the wife asking for a divorce. The kids are adults and are the ones pushing the mom to divorce her husband. None of the kids seem to like their father. He doesn't want to and has been treating her like an ass all their marriage and she thinks he only loves his first wife which he didn't. He ends up going to the hospital and has his friend doctor tell wife to hold up on divorce talk because it is to stressful and he needs someone to take care of him. They latter go to a cabin that he bought for her years ago but didn't tell her about. He finally starts telling her that he loves her for the first time but she is unsure.

Thanks to anyone who can help!

This seems like Learning To Forgive by Sam Crescent. It's the 3rd book in the Sinclair Men series-

There is no boundary when it comes to love and lust. David Sinclair has been in love with Molly ever since she walked into his life. The problem is, the Sinclair line is destined to only love one woman. At least, that is what he believes. When he gets Molly pregnant through one night of passion, he does the right thing and marries her.

After twenty-five years of being in his dead wife’s shadow, Molly demands a divorce. When David refuses, she has no other choice than try to make it work. She is in love with him and wants nothing more than for him to whisper those same words.

Can David rectify the sins of his past? Will he be able to move on and accept that Molly is the woman he loves? Or will her fail and finally know what loss truly means?

Hi!

I think it is something like that. All I know is that the real wife of the H is not popular. I read this somewhere in goodreads but I forgot the title... If you can remember what it is please tell me? I've been dying to read this book. I think I have it on my pc but since I don't remember the title it is...

Anyone care to help me? Thanks!

I think I read about it in one of the Amazon threads I follow, it might be Heroes that grovel correctly, or The List or Worst Betrayal. I'll check and see if I can find it.

Thanks a lot! I can't wait. Maybe I should also check other genres beside time travel.

Hi can anyone please help?

It is a historical romance.

H is a Lord and invites two sisters to stay at his estate. (I think there was more of the girl's family there as well)
with the intention of courting the older sister but ends up more interested in the younger. h is interested in history and/or architecture, & outgoing (hellion type). H has two young children I think! who h spends a lot of time with and gets on really well with. h ends up getting trapped in the crypts under the floor of local church with H's daughter.

Sorry not much to go on but I am hoping some star out there might recognise this as I can't remember author, title or even if it was a series  :-*

Hi, any help appreciated.

Read the book approx. 7 months ago. Have been racking my brains for the book title or even the author, no luck.  Have new laptop since my last one didn't like coffee as much as I do....so that option is out.  Hopefully you can assist.

She escapes from a group/organisation, they are chasing her.  She manages to elude them when she sees a job vacancy advertised in a window.  The job is on land that is protected by "others" (shifters, vamp, fae, bird, etc).  She works as a liaison between the "others" and the humans.  She takes deliveries and the sorts them for delivery to the required "others".  She sometimes delivers the good herself in a golf cart.  She helps out by looking after a traumatised wolf cub, he will not shift to human and doesn't like being outside.  She creates an adventure with him (climbing partners) to get him outside on a lead.  She meets a girl ice skating on a frozen lake, her name is winter (only name I remember).  She buys her a scarf.  The group/organisation are looking for her.  The police are involved and the "others" discourage them from their human liaison.   Anyone entering "others" land over the wall/barricade without permission disappears.  The "others" run a bookstore open to the public.

Well that is about all I can remember, but I have been thinking about it for a while now and it is really bugging me that I can't find it.

Any help appreciated, thanks in advance for your time x

Hello fellow book lovers!
I read a book few months ago, and i forgotten the title of the book--it was such a great read.  i plan to purchase the book, so any information to the title to book/ author would be greatly appreciated.

The heroine of the book i believe is married to a successful doctor. At the first chapters tells of the heroine being in an accident and has lost her memory, and comes into the hospital her husband works in and does not recognizes him. Eventually , the heroine is trying to gain her memory and the husband become resentful that she cannot remember him, and eventually it strains there relationships, and the seperate. The husband starts a romantic relationship with co-worker and the move in together, and his spouse move away. One day heroine remembers everything, and wants to see husband in person to tell him good news, but she see him happily kissing a woman, and decides not to tell him and leave. The heroine continues to go on with her life pretending not to have regained memories back.
