I know there's already an 'Introduce Yourself' thread up on the main page but I thought I'd put one up here in the Cafe as well (so it's just for us book readers). Please take a moment to drop in and say hi, maybe tell us a little bit about yourself....or just tell us what type of books you like to read.

Hi everyone,

I'm an avid reader from Montego Bay, Jamaica. Found this website through Google and it is my favourite, together with 4shared.com. Helps keep destressed and upbeat...so thanks to everyone for all these books that help to keep me sane during my crazy days that involve work, kids and the million and one things I have to do. I live in the UK but was born and brought up in South Africa..... I love books and books have got me through some very lonely times when i have missed my family in SA......

Hi Im Charlie, im a girl dont get fooled by the username lol what can I say I love to read mostly a lot of books where the girl is always the one that saves the day, i love action filled romance novels. I love books that are based back in the medeival times but that are romantic/action. And I love art J scott campbell is a role model to me on how i draw.

ExPat New Yorker living in Mexico.
Reader, published writer (novel, stories, articles, essays, plays, poetry, haiku, etc.),
theatrical director, actor, singer, dancer, set designer, et al.
Favorite reading: action novels, primarily with historic themes, but not
the mindless shoot-em-up kind with chapter after chapter of macho action/cliffhangers.
I prefer stories with intrinsic, valid historic content and well-written descriptive scenes,
and true-to-period characters.
Would post a photo, but can't figure out how to do so.
