Me too. The one I was talking about actually stopped mid chapter to write a small a/n letting us know we were about to read a flashback scene. Needless to say, I never made it through the first chapter.

We probably read the some one....   

Darn that RL that interferes with my fantasy life of fanfiction!!!

And it is so sad when a really good story never gets finished because of life getting in the way.  Of course, this is why I usually wait until they are complete.  But then the authors don't get the feedback or encouragement to continue if we don't read the WIP and review.  So it is a double-edged sword.   I've seen a lot of fics abandoned because the author feels no one is interested, so they lose interest in writing.   

I've always hoped some would be picked up and finished by another author.   

Yeah Ella I agree RL sometimes gets in the way of my fantasy life of fanfiction too

I try to keep an open mind about WIP, still there are a few stories I'm following right now, although the author or authors don't update everyday they do so regularly and for that I am greatful which I say so in the reviews (although I sometimes forget to review since I'm all hyped up about the update  )

Anyway yeah I always hope somebody will pick up an abandoned story; altough most authors don't like somebody picking up where they left off

I have decided to pull some of my stories from here, and I don't plan on reposting them. I don't really like keeping something posted if I am not proud of it and know it isn't my best work. I hv started reading wide awake by AG... i like angst story as far as its not too dperessing..i remember after reading high anxity i couldnt stop thinking about it for whole week...last 2 epi chapters kinds ruin it for me.I like angsty story like Hit by destiby , The Ex-factor..so  far i am at chapter 6 in Wide awake, before i get too deep i want to know what kind of angsty story is this one.i am aware of edward-bella's past story problem..i am sure it will get into more detail in nxt chapters.. but apart from that what kind of angst this story has..anything like new moon kind of break or cheating?? i dont mind spoiler at all.i can also use little detail about other characters role in plot..u can also pm me.

Note: Spoiler Alert
I was never able to finish High Anxiety - I got bored before I even got to the angsty part.  So I can't compare it for you.  As far as Hit by Destiny - I think WA is less angsty in some ways.
In Hit By Destiny, there are still things going on in Bella's life that are scary.  In WA, it is all about the after affects of what happened.  I liked them both.
