This is on my TBR, I'm definitely pushing it down the list now.
I hate when the author says that Bella fell pregnant cos she's on antibiotics, I mean haven't they ever heard of condoms.  Or actually any other form of contraception that can be used while on antibiotics.

The excuse was she was sick and so tired/overwhelmed with finals that she didn't read he warnings that came with the antibiotics.  In the story Edward has issues and is going away to deal with them and she doesn't want to tell him, I could see it all going south so I read the reviews for the next chapter and when I saw they were going to say the baby was his brother Emmett's - I regretted the time invested getting hooked on the story.

I think I will go back to rereading my favorites.

 

I flounced Swim Tadpole, Swim by Scarlettplay for similar reason. There Bella is 35 and Edward is 19, they start dating and sleeping together and they don’t use any protection. Edward I think believes that she’s on the pill and she just “going to see her doctor one of these days” for a prescription. This goes on for two weeks. They are very active I must say – 3-4 rounds a day.

So then – surprise! – she gets pregnant and dumps Edward pretending that she is back with Jake, her former husband. She says that she doesn’t want to ruin his life with unplanned child and he is so young and so on. But all this really looks ridiculous because you stop seeing any logic behind these characters’ actions.

I'm having a flounce or not flounce moment on a Harry Potter fic. This thing is mostly well written, but LONG. Like, over 600k words long. Now, the couple is finally together, but there's still several hours of story yet, so I can only imagine it's just a bunch of nonsense manufactured to drag the story out. I want to know how it ends, but I'm not sure if I'm up to what the author is about to put me and the characters through. But I've already read for days!   

I'm sure I'll end up finishing it, I just needed to vent and ask what others would do.

See,  you shouldn't really ask me because I have no problem reading the last couple chapters to see how it ends and whether it's worth reading the rest.  I've been known to read books backwards by chapter. But not often.  I should try that with EP as I flounced out of boredom 100 pages in and never got to the good parts. 

Wow. That's a story in itself. Yeah. Okay. Read the epi to get your HEA and run away. LOL! 

I just came across a fic where the author had the guy lose his "confidents". It was at the end of a really short story, so I didn't flounce, I just had to share.
