Omg.

I tried to start a new fic last night. I *think* it has a good story line. I like the 'feel' of it.

But holy jeeeezus this author cannot distinguish between heterographs. Seriously. Any word that has a different spelling/meaning but sounds the same or even similar, is wrong.

The different there, their, they're

I don't even remember the others. I know it's no big deal but good lord. I'm not sure I can stick this out.

And, song lyrics IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CHAPTER. With zero warning, just...there. I'm all for lyrics, I love music and I connect to things through it. But don't put the entire song's lyrics in the middle of the chapter. Multiple times. There were 3 different songs in the first chapter.

You know what I hate? When they put visual of the clothes the characters are meant to be wearing, smack bang in the middle of a page...I think it was This Life the worse for that...or I've read fics where authors but ANs in the middle of chapters, " I know no one is going to like that last sentence but I'm doing it because  " That makes me want to tear my hair out!!!

Another note. I am 15 pages into Pleasures in the Night by Sylvia Day. It will need to improve.....and soon. Maybe I am just not in the mood.

Has anyone read Twice In A Lifetime Singer? Jesus Christ! I've never want to slap the whole cast of characters as much as I do this lot! Without giving away plot, (though, I'm sure the title is kind of a give away) they're ALL like.. "Edward you do what you have to do...if this is how you feel then you have to explore it" hugs and kisses! Forget about the stupid chick who's given up everything for you! Arsehole! Yeah not finished but if this is a E/B HEA I'm going to punch someone!

I started that fic then flounced after 2 chapters. I hated it.

Just a little hard getting into it, when they use makeup words. Once I know wtf they are talking about, it should get easier.
