I didn't read the published book. And I struggled to finish the fic, I should have flounced but it took me close to a year to find a copy because everyone was so secretive about it. I kept waiting for the great moment in the fic! YKWIM?

I was kinda into it til I got to the part where that chick who was vowing revenge against the guy she held responsible for her kid's death ended up sleeping with and falling for him. The drug dealing pimp gangsta type. Yeah, so hot.

I'm so glad to hear that I'm not alone in this! Poughkeepsie was such a popular fic but it just seemed a bit silly and contrived to me. Gynazole - what rubbish!

This is where I wonder if all the good reviews were because it was read as a WIP. I've found that when I read one chapter at a time & have to wait for updates, I'm a lot more lenient with the SPaG errors than I am when I see them over and over. I've noticed this with stories I loved as a WIP and went back to reread as a full story.

There are also a number of fics I've read that had such great reviews and recs - but mostly while it was a WIP. But I read them and get bored after a couple chapters or the SPaG errors are annoying.

If you are looking for Carlisle stories you will find them on the non-canon thread UL / Link Fanfiction Twilight Non Canon, AU, Bella/Jasper or ......... (Not Edward). If you open the page list at the top of the thread you will see the list of stories and can pick out the Carlisle ones. There are a few naughty ones on there!

You're right, I liked a lot of WIPs but wasn't able to re-read or enjoy them when they were completed.

1) It's a Bella and Edward fic where Bella has a secret she keeps from Edward at first. When she was younger she had a daughter with Jake called Nessie but she died. The fic was really well written and had all the usual gang as Bella's friends.

2) Bella is a breast cancer survivor and had a masectomy. Again it's Edward and Bella and how he shows her how strong and beautiful she is.

I've looked for both on Ff.net but can't remember the names or authors.

I'd love your help if you know them.

I am looking for a Bella/Jasper story. They discover that they are mates. I know this is not much to go on, but there is one thing that sticks out in this story. Peter is real comic relief. He refers to Bella as Puddin'. At one point, he is in a department store dressing room naked and spinning in circles. Any ideas of what the name of this fic might be? Available to download?

Help would be appreciated.

But I have a request to make I hope someone can help me...
You'll see... once I was reading a fic called office fun, in the last chapter the writter left a sneak peek of a story called "the baker". I've trying to found it but I haven't had any luck, she doesn't even say if is a story of hers or someone else's...
So if someone knows something about it I REALLY woul appreciate your help... Thank you

Now here is the sneak peek of "The Baker"

"This is the one." I said as I chewed on my lip and stared in the full mirrors in front of me. Mom, my best friend Alice, and my older sister Charlotte were speechless as they stood directly behind me looking at the mirror as well.

"Bella, that one is the most beautiful." Alice said.

"It's perfect." Charlotte commented.

I looked to mom through the mirror and she had tears in her eyes. "I just can't believe my baby is getting married."

I turned and smiled at them all in complete happiness as I hugged mom. Charlotte and Alice joined in on our hug. We all looked at each other and screamed in delight just as my phone started ringing in my purse.

"That's probably Riley." Charlotte said in a sing song voice as I skipped over to grab my phone. I stared into the mirror at the dress as I pulled the phone up to my ear.

"Hey baby." I smiled and turned sideways in the dress trying to get a good look at the back. "I just found it Riley! It's beautiful. I can't wait for you to see it."

"He is absolutely going to love it." Alice cheered as she brought over some veils and hummed, "Here Comes the Bride" I laughed and pushed her hands away from me.

"Bella…" His voice was off and it caused me to stop short and really focus on him. I had a bad feeling about this. "We need to talk."
