This is the new thread as the other was sooo long and had lots of pages. Continuation of our wonderful discussions on Twilight Fanfiction, Books, and Life in general. But mostly Twilight fanfics... and life stuff that will get me a NOT ALLOWED statement.

Okay, here is a place to discuss what you are reading, ask for recommendations and complain about the writing.

OMG, I so do that (read the ending) as I wanna know whether I should read it and if it's a cliff hanger or HEA etc.
My hubby reckons I'm nuts for doing it as he's found me crying about an ending, yet I've no idea whats happened to get there.

Tell hubs there is nothing nuts about it, a just girl has to know.

Oh Caro, I am right there with you on that. I hate feet YUCK

IKR. My brother is responsible for my intense dislike. Growing up my brother had the stinkest feet in the world and would chuck his smelly socks at us. His feet smelt so bad that when he went camping with some friends they moved the tent so his feet, socks and boots were outside the tent and not contaminating their air.

IKR. My brother is responsible for my intense dislike. Growing up my brother had the stinkest feet in the world and would chuck his smelly socks at us. End of bewildered and grossed out ranting. Thanks for letting me get that off my chest. But do let me know your thoughts please. Am i alone in my aversion?

Raises hands slowly but bravely, I like the feet thing....I know I'm a weirdo.
I guess saying you have to go "freshen up" does not sound so sexy, but I agree with you we all just gloss over the eek parts.

Yeah, um my hubby doing anything to my feet besides rubbing them does nothing for me. I think it would actually freak me out if he did more.

Lol, that so sounds like my 2 eldest brothers feet - they stunk and they would be really mean and hide their socks somewhere in my room so I couldn't find them and even if I had the window open they still stunk up the room.
Once my eldest brother put his socks in my pillow case, I had to throw the pillow and case away as the smell wouldn't come out.

Anyone else missing the great Fictionators website? I have searched for new teaser sites - so far I have found several...

Fictease.com is posting Twilight teasers on Tuesdays, they are starting multi-fandom teasers on Mondays and have pic teasers on Saturday - they call it Snapshot Saturday.
Twilightficzone.com posts on Saturday.
Ficcentral.com posts teasers on Wednesday.

Anyone else have other teaser sites? I tried the Facebook route but it gets too time consuming having to go to each author's page.

I started a Teaser topic in the Discussions on FictionPad.com. I am hoping for each fandom to have their own section for teasers there - it is a great way to get readers' attention. It will also lead more readers (writers too) to FictionPad. So far I have been disappointed but hopefully as the site grows things will get better.

I found most of my favorite fics by reading a teaser.

Hi all! I've been catching up.

I tried chicken feet once when I was in Asia... it tasted like fried gristle. gross.

More gross -- oral without washing.

Not so gross -- nibbling on my feet on his way up after a luxurious bath to set up the mood for more. I think it's the idea that he wants to claim every part of me more than the act itself. (Without washing is just ewww.)

I just finished reading the last of the Age of Edward entries. Whew! *wipes forehead* I think I missed the deadline though for voting *bangs newly wiped forehead*. Now, if I can find it downloadable, I really want to give Awkwardly Yours a shot. I can't seem to find it though. Hate is still lingering for those blocking FLAG. I'm thinking of starting Heat while I search.

Hope all is well with everyone, I had a great time visiting my brother and his son in Houston! Thanks for the recs on things to do. I appreciate it. Now I'm back in freezing NY. Texas weather was fantastic! I look forward to visiting again.

I have a question about posting fics. We've always posted fics here that were pulled, and just posted links to fics that were still up on FF.net. I was just wondering if, since FLAG and most of the fanfiction downloaders are being blocked now, if it would be permissible to post fics from ff.net here now, if someone requests them and we have them?

Also, can someone please post how to make my fanfic folders in Google Drive and Copy public so I can share the links here in my sig like others have done?

I'm having trouble with Copy. But on your Google Drive, right click on the folder you want to share. One option is share folder. I usually select share with whoever has this link and copy the link. Read access only. That's the link I put on my posts.

Let me know if you have any problems with it.
