When I was pregnant with my last child, I had morning sickness that lasted 24/7 for 8 1/2 months. I couldn't hold anything down, not even water, and back then they didn't give you anything for it, so I can understand a bit of what you are going through. It sucks a**!
That's putting it mildly hun.  :D :D :-* :-*

My old Biology teacher, when we were doing genetics said there was a 51/49% chance of having a boy over a girl at any pregnancy, But, chance plays a huge roll, and his parents gave up trying for a girl after the eleventh boy.  :D :D Honestly, I have two boys and I spend a lot of my time refereeing their fall outs, I'd be bald and probably never get out of the house if I had ten to deal with. (all that cooking and washing and helping with homework...)

Wow 11 boys!!!
I was my parents last chance at having a girl after 4 boys, but they were so convinced I was another boy I was named after one.  :D
Our daughter Topanga-Sway was the first girl for my Father-in-laws family for 60 years as it's been nothing but boys, then they've had boys etc, etc.
But I've trained the hubby pretty well - he does all the cooking, cleaning, helping with the pets (and we have a lot of pets) etc as well as work full time as a Personal Trainer.
But it's all good as I can't cook to save my life so it's safer that he does pretty much everything and he hates me doing stuff.
I'm just trying to get his brothers to start being more like him as at the moment, their wives/girlfriends/boyfriends let them be slightly lazy.
As soon as I've found one that's trainable enough - I'm sending Astro's way.  :P :D

Mathematically, that makes no sense.  There must be something else involved in that.

And? If I remember correctly, there tend to be more boys born after a war.   :P

I ended up with 4 sons because I was trying to have a girl. Clearly it didn't work out for me. We almost decided to try once more, but in the end it didn't happen. Believe it or not, originally all I wanted was 2 children. A boy first, which I got, and a girl.

Yep, it was something to do with the different in the weight of the sperm carrying the x chromosome and the ones carrying the y...also it would mean slightly more boys born into the population over the years, sadly, wars tend to level the population figures over the decades.

I would have liked a little girl, and if I could have been 100% guaranteed I might have gone through another horrible pregnancy, but knowing my luck I'd have twins...both boys  :D

We were looking at a procedure known here as s*x election. At that time, it was really expensive and we couldn't afford it. I also did some research into it and based on what I learned, you are right about the weight of the sperm and the "girl" sperm, which is X if I remember correctly, is heavier than the Y's. Therefore the Y's can reach the egg first. There were techniques that could be used during the climax that were said to improve the chances of a girl, but I wasn't willing to take that chance. There are twins in my family as well and with my luck I would, as you said, ended up with twin boys. There will always be a part of me that wishes that things had turned out differently and I had a daughter, but there isn't anything that I can do about that.

Well, I'm looking forward to having granddaughters lol. My 6 year old Adam is fascinated with boobs and girls and motorbikes,( I think it might be because I breast fed him with my huge bazookas :D :D ) If he sees a girl within ten feet he's all smiley and extra nice to them, junior flirt! I can see him at eighteen with a big motorbike, tattoos and half a dozen girls on the go - I don't think I'll be short of grandkids.

Really hard to have grandkids when you fix all the kids as soon as they enter the house (if not before) LOL!

We did get a kitten we were assured was a female (no apparent male parts).  Within a month, he started showing parts and got a name change.  We didn't need another boy.  The ones we have are always fighting, so we thought a girl might work.   :P

My sister with four kids is the only one who did the girl/boy/girl/boy things. Everyone else had two of one and the ones that went for the 3rd got one of the other.  I'm the only one with no kids.

Does anyone know if there's a way, either on FF.net, or on the FF.net plug in for Calibre, to filter out the fics of a certain fandom by an author, and only pull down those, rather than having to go through and get them all individually?

Some authors write for multiple fandoms that I'm not interested in, for instance, I'm wanting one author's Harry Potter/Drarry fic, I don't want her Teen Wolf, Torchwood, etc.

Could very well be considering he is a personal trainer! Who cooks! Who cleans! And loves to have s*x with loopy in public places! Yeah, that's how lucky loopy is!  :D :D

Ever wondered why loopy has her own tag in the thread? Do go through the other past threads and you'll understand why  :D :D :D

Love 'ya Loopy!  :-*

So what I have done is sort by Category. Then I use that the linkclump extension (hold down right click on mouse) it copies all the URLs highlighted - I only do the ones I like.

I then use the Add from URL and it automatically pastes - well it pastes 2  - into the box and I download those.  I was using it for favorites until FFDL started picking them up.
