In case anyone is interested, You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login was completed yesterday. What a great was to start my 2014 fanfiction year Unfortunatelly, according to her last AN, she is not planning on posting again for sometime, although she sais she mifht try again sometime for the You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login sequel.

Just a reminder, Lions Eat Lambs is and forever will be my favorite Twilight FanFic out there, so I will reccomend it to horror lovers once more.

You beat me to it, I was just going to announce the same. I have waited ages for HoH to complete, it was worth the wait. I am not generally a fan of horror but you have to love Raggdolly. I do hope there is a sequel to Lions Eat Lambs, I need to know if E gets B, I think he does....

Fatherhood, Formula and other F Words is predictable, but it's probably the best Daddyward fic I've read thus far. The sequel is also quite nice.

I have found that whenever I click on this thread from the MAIN PAGE of this site, it'll take me to the last read post, but that only works if this thread is the last thread that's been replied to in the fanfic section. The main page lists the last thread posted in. As far as bookmarking? I dunno! I'll look around.

If you put it on your bookmarks using the site bookmark tool, then whenever you check on it from your bookmarks here, click on "new" next to the thread, it will take you to the last place you were when you left off (as long as you're signed in). That same trick (clicking on "new") from the home page will also work. If come to the thread from your e-mail notification, it also will generally take you back to the place you left off unless you click on the take me to this post option in your e-mail notification.

Hi, i assume you clicked on the "notify" button on this thread so that you get an email alert when any new post has been posted.

To double check your settings, click on the profile button
Choose summary
Above the summary bar you will see the tabs profile, modify profile and actions. Choose modify profile.
It will show a drop down, choose notifications
Then choose this:
For topics and boards I've requested notification on, notify me: "Instantly, but only for the first unread post"
For topics and boards I've requested notification on, notify me of: "replies and moderation"
Then click save settings

I am alerted of a new post via email. I either click on the link in the email and it brings me to my last read post or i just go visit my safari where the tab for twific discussion is always open (i am always logged in). If i don't refresh the safari,it will not update the page. I think once i refresh, the "counter, program or powers that be" automatically notes the last post on the page i "read". thus, when a new post is posted, i get another email, even while i am still reading the post or typing my reply.

However, If i don't click on the email link or refresh my safari, i will not receive a new email notification precisely because i chose "Instantly, but only for the first unread post". I may forget a day or 2 to visit the site and it will always bring me to the last post i read when i click on the email link or refresh my safari. For example, i got an email alert at 1am that someone posted. But i went to sleep already without going to the thread. So when I woke up this morning, there were several posts already but i only got 1 email notification, the one i received before i went to sleep.

Happy New Year !!

I cannot believe a month has gone by. No, I have not been sick or hurt or anything like that.
My son graduated basic training on Dec 5th after 3 months away. I got to spend a whole 24 hours with him before he was off for his next 4 months of training.
We did pick him up from the airport on Dec 20th and we take him back to the airport this Saturday. It was wonderful to have a full house. Both sons were home, mother-in-law, and girlfriends. What a month !!!! However since hubs travels and usually at night after working long hours, it is just me and the kitty. I am trying really hard not to blow gaskets because the house is destroyed or that I have not had 5 min of peace. Monday everything will be back to the usual.

I haven't read any fanfics in about a month. There is just NOOOOO time. I am still making my way through Shayla Blacks series Wicked Lover's series. I am on Book 6. Only 7 is published so far. Plenty of lemons but good plot as well.

I just booted my laptop in over a month. GAH so many updates to both the pc as well as calibre and my ff to grab.

Again, sorry for the MIA, hope you all can forgive me. I hope all of you are doing well !!

Did anyone figure out how the ff downloader for calibre can grab from fictionpad? It works when I individually click on a story, but I have gotten spoiled when I could grab everything by an author from the other sites.

I've been keeping my Google drive fairly up to date. At least with FFnet. If you can figure out how to download my Copy folder, you can actually have my whole Calibre completed fics library.

Though I need to find out if people can change it if they have access. I don't mind additions, but I don't think I want subtractions. Though I do have a back up or two....

If you don't have Copy, you can get at least 15 GBs free. If you use this link I get another 5 GB and you should also... You are not allowed to view links. Register or Loginr=RMZxu1

Copy does work with Calibre, but since it is semi not yours and it syncs? I would make sure I have a back up. I have been able to sync between my desktop and my laptop using it. Unlike Google Drive.

I say semi not yours because anytime you store it on a computer/server that is not yours, you take the chance they will go out of business and it will all disappear....

Not posting in the right place hun, but we don't upload fics that are available on ffn. Have you updated your calibre ffdl lately? There have been a lot of changes. I thought someone here rec'd it. It works really well, though it gives me duplicate URLs. Calibre deals with it though. I don't get 2 copies.
